Hey there!
I've been a long time lurker on this forum, and in that time I've gotten to know many of you! I think it's time now that you all got to know a bit about me!

I was diagnosed with Peyronie's disease in March 2019 at the ripe old age of 25, and not to sound too cliche but the following weeks can only be described as a rollercoaster of emotion. Which was then followed by months of numbness and apathy.

I asked myself all the usual questions; Why me? What could I have done to prevent it? Is this the end of my sex life? What if I can't satisfy any future partners I might have? blah blah, etc etc.

I was depressed, and desperate for some answers. That's when I discovered this forum.

I just want to say that while I lurked here, reading your stories, your experiences, your successes, and your failures. It all really helped me feel like I wasn't alone during the lonliest time of my life. You guys saved me from going insane.

Now for a little info on my Peyronies Disease.
As you can see from my signature, I have two indents. One large indent on the left of my shaft that's been with me from the beginning, and one small indent on the right that I developed this year. These dents are located just below my glans. I consider myself lucky as my length has been virtually unaffected so far, my main problems are ED due to a venuous leak, distal flaccidity and pain on both sides
of my penis. I found that one of those rings that you put at the base of the penis can help me maintain a strong erection. I have taken viagra in the past, but not often, and I was reccomended cialis as a more long term alternative to viagra, which I'm excited to try.
I also, quite religiously, practice manual traction and heat therapy using a rice sock. Both of which I've seen suggested by Neo on many occasions. The traction is primarily a preventative measure coz as I said before, my length has luckily been unaffected thus far (touch wood), but the heat has been successful at treating the pain in my flaccid penis. Much more so than over the counter meds like ibuprofen.

Anyway I suppose that's it for now. I'll likely be far more active on this forum after today and I hope I might be able to help even one of you in the way that all of you helped me.

Best wishes,
A friend and fellow sufferer.

Diagnosed with Peyronies Disease at 25. Slight curve. One large indentation on the left side of the shaft, and one small indentation on the right. No loss of length, but struggling quite significantly with ED as a result of a venuous leak.

Welcome.  For the pain you might want to try an over the counter NSAID and/or  generic voltaren gel applied to the penis.  Low dose nightly generic cialis can not only help w erections but to remodel the plaque causing the indentations to healthy tissue-esp in conjuction w traction.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.

I was wondering if your indentations were causing an hourglass deformity. I had hourglassing but it did resolve on its own without viagra. I did take Pentox for a year or more, but I'm not sure it did anything.

TonySa, thanks so much for the advice. I've yet to try a gel, so I might start with that!

No not exactly an hourglass deformity. The newest indentation is still quite small, and both of them fill out upon erection, save for a slight ridge where they are located. I'll post pictures at a later stage.

Were you doing much in the way of treatment prior to your hourglass problem resolving? I know hourglassing is quite a common complaint for those with Peyronies Disease so I'd be interested in hearing what you did that may have helped.
