Hello people, I am 26 years old and I have been in what appears to be "active phase" since 17. The progression and pain slowed way down, but I can't really say I am stable and I am extremely afraid to lose more as I already lost a lot of size, have a different shape, numbness etc. I am scared that I might one day end up completely impotent. I still have somewhat of a penis left to save, but I REALLY can't wait and see, get worse and accept myswld.that way. I am finally getting my life back, but I need to be able to move on. I always procastrinated the idwa of an implant cause it is not ideal ans it wont give me size back. But at this point I's be happy to save what is left ans maybe learn to be content with that. It is all fine but I CAN'T get worse anymore. So is an implant an option for me?? I feel like my penisnis clogging and that is rhw only way to descrobe it. Been diagnosed with venous leak on a scan, scan didnt see scar tissue but all docs confirmed there is scar tissue as you can clearly feel it by hand (I can too, feels even worse from.within than from the outsids. As if my dck is rubber or plastic). There is also pelvic floor tension that.my doc pushes me.to fix but I do not believe that it is gonna fix me to do some pwlvic floor theraphy. Will dl it either way, but I need a real fix. So what do you all advice?? Best doc to do this with? Can I regain or at least maintain my size? And is it true that it will truly quit any sixe and shape change in the future and give me reliable erecrions for life? I am mostly afraid the inflammation will still get worse even when implanted and I end up smaller nonetheless or even worse.. have to get it removed again. I am seriously considering it and hope you guys can help.

Welcome.  What changes have you seen other than pain?  Be sure to get started by reading the Peyronies Disease survival guide.  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057
If you have severe Erectile Dysfunction as well and the Pde5i don't work an implant is a great solution and you can read about the many successes on the implant section of the forum.  Also see: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,12163.msg112616.html#msg112616

26 now, got this around 17 from jelqing. Lost some major volume, change of shape, change of sensation, still pain, it is a mess. The only reason I am.even considering an implant is cause I might end up with only a dead hanging skin if I keep getting worse which seems to happen no matter what I do. I already have tried everything like cialis, pentox, l citrulline, aspirin, traction and ved (which both make me WORSE not better) so now I would just be happy to get an implany hopefully stop the progression. Not sure though as like I said I am never out of active phase no matrer what.

This sounds scientifically impossible. Have you seen an expert in the field?

You shouldn't need an implant at your age. I'd see a specialist in Peyroines

An implant can be done in the active phase but not plication or grafting and excision alone.  Absolutely consult w a Peyronie's specialist and an implant specialist if you're considering that.

The comment that you should not need an implant at your age is bizarre.  You either do or yu don't need one.  What you should need is irrelavanvt.

No one but you can decide whether to go with an implant.  I would say if you can have intercourse, don't do it.  If you can't then do it now.

Your post was a bit hard to read. I re-read some emails I'd sent after I'd had a concussion, and it reminded me of that. Anyhow, to not lose size, I'd recommend using a vacuum Erection device (VED).

I have no idea whether or not you'll need an implant.
Good luck on your quest to get through this problem.
