Hi, I'm new to here I'm 38. The last 3 years I've started to form a bend. Can look really abnormal at times, I get pain at the base to the left and as time goes on the problem is getting worse and worse. Sex is painful and masterbation hurts and I can't get hard.

I'm completely out my depth, I have seen urologists locally but there no use at all really. What I'm after is someone to speak to who I can consult with about ED and Peyronies Disease. They could be a councillor at first but I am after guidance. I have been reading alot of posts on here, but can anyone recommend some one good I can talk to about all this?

Many Thanks

I don't know anything about NHS medicine but a lot of doctors in U.S. will do phone consults.

Read the survival guide here first and take some time to start reading posts here that are related to your issue and once you start to gain some knowledge you'll know what direction to go in. First off would be getting a color ultrasound with injection to induce erection (if you can't achieve one on your own--erection is not needed to diagnose peyronie's but they will want to check for venous leakage). You will also want to take some baseline measurements to start.

We need some stats to help you. How bad is the bend? What's your diet like? Do you have any hourglassing? Have you lost length/girth? Etc., etc.

Hi the bend is like 45 degrees when erect, when flacid it hangs to the left and there is torsion and curve. I don't have hourglass and the length is probably longer but thinner. I can't get a erection as easy now. Its all very confussing. Please tell me who are the best Dr in the USA to discuss this with.

Thanks all.

Hey ben.... Whilst I can recommend doctors for you to go, it would be advisable that you first try to inform yourself with your condition and what you can do about it.

There is plenty that you can do in the UK, and right now with the pandemic, informing yourself, especially with a non urgent condition, it's pretty much the best thing you can do.

What have you read about ed so far?
