Plaque breaked? Help

Hi, I just Got diagnosed a tiny plaque of 5 mm. The doctor checked my penis very strongly and I felt some pain during the visit. Now it's all the day I'm feeling a more acute and burning pain in the plaque spot. Plus, the ecography images shows that this tiny plaque seems like to be divided in half. Is it possible that the doctor sort of breaked it during the check? Because it's this tiny? If it's like this, what should I do? I just let it heal or do some thin? Will the plaque rebuilds itself?
