I have high prolactin. Doc says not to worry unless it tests out of range again in a few months. Testosterone seems on low side in my opinion. But doesn't appear worth it to risk side effects of trt.
Lemme know what you think. Thanks.

why would you rush for trt ?
you can instead act on prolactin level to lower it

Tony, I looked into that site and it gets redirected to a consumer site. Are there any other general opinions on what your overall testosterone needs to be or when you should consider trt?

Mine is 352. Not the highest, but in range as far as my doctor says. I'm 45 years old, not 25 afterall.

I'm afraid of the side effects. Don't care about fertility but I don't want to lose any hair or shrink my nuts or get any more aggressive than I already am.

Reference range for free t from doctor says should be between like 5 and 19. Mine was 6 something. That site says it should be 20-25???

And it says nothing about total levels.

They recommend a higher level the the charts which reduce the values with age.  Only free T is relevant as I understand it.  Also, get estradiol level checked.
"the so-called "normal" levels of testosterone in older men reflect population averages. Life Extension believes that most aging men would prefer not to accept the loss of youthful vigor as normal. Instead, we suggest that a more valid optimal level for all men would be in the upper one-third of the reference range used for men aged 21 to 49 years, and that any supplementation should aim to restore hormone levels to that range. The current Life Extension optimal level of free testosterone is 20‒25 pg/mL."
