Hi!

Peyronies sufferer since a couple of years. I have a new problem. For a couple of weeks I have trouble peeing. I don't feel the urge and when I pee only a small amount is coming out. I have been to a urologist and he prescribed Alfuzosin. Helps a little. I will go back to him in four weeks and probably have to do a cystoscopy. I have nightmares. Is stricture a common problem when having peyronies? I don't know what is wrong with me.

Godisreal

Hey Dressa! From what I've heard and read - difficulty urinating is not uncommon with peyronies.
Therefore I wouldn't expect your situation with peeing to be looked at as something that is making your dick worse. But ofc I understand it concerns you.
I've had trouble urinating too, but for me it went away as soon as my stress levels got lower as well as my pelvic floor got more relaxed.
And from what I learned from your earlier posts, it seems like you and me have very similar problems.
I'm stuck with a sharp upward curve with obvious hardening near the base making my former  congenital curve worse. And since we live in the same country, feel free to write to me privately.
I would like to hear from someone in my own country... maybe we can exchange good info and help each other out?
God bless you man

As far as I know, it doesn't seem to be related in any way. But looks like you are right on track with your urologist. The cistoscopy is the right thing to do.

Did the cystoscopy ever find anything that was causing your urination issues?

I'm having a thing now for past month that feels like I am pissing shards of glass. So many weird things have come and gone over past year and half that I am just ignoring it.

Man, sorry to hear.  I been trying ignore as well, but the bouts of prostatitis i been getting from not urinating right pushed me to get it looked at.  Quality of life is really an issue at this point.  Hope it gets better soon for you.

According to my doctor the difficulties urinating has almost certainly nothing to with peyronies though. Hmmm

Pfract

Regardless if it's from peyronies or not, get it checked out and taken care of, because if left untreated it may bring complications later on. Problems with your bladder, worsening of the stricture itself... etc. have you searched online about strictures and their treatment?

Dressa:

Based on my long time battle with prostate cancer (removed in 1995), Peyronies Disease, ED and other urinary tract problems I believe you have some form of UTI (urinary tract inflammation).

I would highly recommend seeing a good urologist to determine if you do have it. There are many meds that can contain this problem and cause healing quickly. Tip: if you do have to do a cystoscopy, just remember to relax, take a deep breath and hold it, releasing it as the tube of the instrument is moving up your urethra. Usually, a topical pain lube is used to coat the instrument, so you might want to ask for the pain deadener if you have the procedure.

I had a cystoscopy. Normal bladder, everything looked good. The prostate is normal but I got a medicine - Alfuzosin that helps a lot. I asked the urologist what could be the problem. He said that it is not enlarged and the prostate maybe is a bit stiff. The medicine helps to relaxe the urinary tract and has also a positive Influence in erection I noticed.

Samsung - what you described sounds like a UTI or STD.

I also have issues peeing where the streem sometimes goes to one side or there is dribble at the end. This definitely started after peyronies - I assume the plaque or flaccid bend is causing it.

I noticed some improvement after months of pumping and pentox.

I also think Ketosis can help with this by lowering inflammation.

Keep us updated if there is any progress.

I have the EXACT same symptoms.  Started about 10 days after the main inflammation / scarring / plaquing started.  I didnt notice any improvement when i was taking pentox, but I wasn't using a VED at the time.  I think that's next on my list to start doing.  Traction was a bust due to the pain where I think there's a plaque crimping the corner of my urethera and the fact it was actually making it worse.

My cystoscopy is on 5/14 and i will promptly share my results as to maybe give you some ideas on your situation.

Busted - keen to see your results. I definitely recommend a combination of PEntox, VED and light Traction.

I'm looking at purchasing the Restorex soon (do a forum search) many members have seen good results.

I also recommend trying Keto and Cialis daily if you have ED.

That's good to know Dressa. Thanks for the update! how did it feel doing the cystoscopy?

Dressa

Cystoscopy wasn't that near death experience that many men write about in different forums. It hurts a bit but it's a quick sting that was far from the pain I was fearing. DO not google it! Breathe...and it's over very quickly.

Low dose nightly cialis also helps remodel plaque to healthy tissue as well as improve erections.

@jj21

My Uro postponed the cytsto when I got there due to me having made progress with my prostatitis symptoms and some improvement on the urinary front.  He also had to notice that I was about a nano second from having a stroke from the anxiety I was feeling.  Being that I have not had any infections and being able to consistently empty my bladder, he said its best to give it some more time before doing the cystoscopy.  They can cause scarring, albiet rare, in the urethra, and I appreciate the extra caution he threw out.    Either case, I have to get myself ready emotionally / anxiety wise before going in again and getting it done.  What's sad is that I have been through a ton of hairy dental work, root canal, etc, and that barely bothered me.  Shoving a pencil size camera in my dilapidated pee hole.... off the charts.

Just an update for jj21 since he asked, that pissing shards of glass thing went away. Not sure what was causing it. I think maybe looking at porn too much? I dunno.

Samsung, how would pain be associated with "watching porn to much"?

It might not be, it could be unrelated. But sometimes I find if I don't masturbate quickly and just get it over with, but rather in boredom or horniness or whatever you want to call it, if I just sit there and look at porn for say 5 min. and get erect and then don't masturbate that it causes pain. If I do this for a couple days in a row for ex., it seems to cause pain. It might not be correlated, but it appears to be.

Natural morning wood doesn't seem to cause pain. Or just masturbating very quickly and doing my business causes less pain. Joyless masturbating in other words. But if I take my time it seems to cause pain later. But again, it may be unrelated. It might just be I was more tense on those days. I have no idea.

Hmmmm, interesting correlation for you.  But i don't really see how it would cause pain for most guys.

Alfuzosin relaxes the muscles around the prostata.
You can stop peeing by tensing your pelvic floor intentionally.

Some people have trouble peeing cause their pelvic floor is tight and out of their immediate control.(which can be changed by training) You might not be aware of it directly. A pelvic floor therapist can deal with that. (or diy exercise)

Having an unbalanced pelvic floor can also cause erection problems. That's also the relation to masturbation.
If you have an unbalance/tense PF and you masturbate it can aggrevate the tissue down there. It pinches nerves, strains muscles, pulls on cartilage. So possible that short masturbation causes less problems obviously by straining less.

Hard flaccid issue reported by a lot of younger people is also related to a messed up Pelvic floor. Back in my youth we wanked to 4page playboy posters standing upright :p now guys are hunched over infront of a device clenching up their whole area.

Now.. think about it.. it will lead to low blood flow to the penis too. Low bloodflow to an injury/inflammation means the body can't properly "send" help. Probably another reason for a lot of Peyronies.
