Patient Assistance- Xiaflex

Xiaflex has a patient assistance program for patients that live in the US- if you have no insurance or a commercial insurance plan, you can qualify for the program. Medicare insurance plans do not qualify but that is normal with patient assistance programs. I pulled the program from the Xiaflex website itself, I wanted to make sure it was legitimate.

Your Dr should subscribe to a 3rd party service that assists in obtaining Xiaflex. After the Dr issued the prescription I was contacted by the service and was told there are several programs that offer assistance if I ask and help with my insurance company if needed.

Fortunately for me, my insurance has a specialty pharmacy and no further assistance was needed. I simply call them when a new vial needs to be delivered to the Dr.
