Well my wife just had her surgery and things did not go as expected. The brain surgery was more invasive than they thought to fix the hole in her skull. She is looking at another op in about 10 to 12 weeks so  it looks like I will be traveling nowhere for many months.

I am planning on going ahead with my implant sometime in Feb. I will use the last dr I saw in Cincinnati. Otherwise I will have to wait until the end of the year. I really wanted to have Kramer or eid do it but unless I want to wait another 8 or 9 months, which I do not it is the best i can find around ky. No way she will let me go anywhere without her and she ain't traveling for a while.

Life is what it is at times. I do figure it all goes to hell I can get one of them to fix it at the end of the year unless I just lose the whole dick for some reason. Everyone take care.

Tough decision but I understand and I might do the same in your situation.  Waiting is an option, however.   You understand the risks so hopefully, all will go great. I really would look over this post and get as many of these checked off as possible, especially an official premeasurement and a promise of a minimal end result.

   Please don't.
Do post your frustration, despair and other feelings. Just talking about your problems with someone or putting your thoughts in a post this forum will help. Look at your problems one at a time not everything at once. One can be overwhelmed by lumping all of your issues into one.
Take small steps to overcome the things you can change and let go of those you have no control of. Talk to a medical professional about your feelings, an antidepressant can do a world of good.
I hope you will think about your problems using the tools that have helped me. Don't give up.

Sw,

I can see that you are in the middle of a couple health issues with you and your wife, I would like to just say to not make a decision in haste. I am not living with the peyronies like you are but it seems it would be better to wait and be able to see Dr Eid/Kramer rather than settle for someone that may not have their expertise. The fact that you titled your post "About to play Russian roulette" does not make me feel good about surgery with what ever Dr is close to you.

Prayers for you and your wife,

SW,  I am going to go where I was hesitant to tread based on the limited information I have.

It is very true that the injured penis is not like aging wine.  Great things usually do not happen while you wait.  Having said that, I waited for 15 years.  That was not all indecision.  I didn't even know about implants for the first few years and then only had one or two reports to go on.  Bottom line is I should have moved much sooner BUT I am in good shape.  I think you are using traction / VED so you will likely preserve what you have.

Next is that if your wife is not interested in you leaving the state for an implant does that translate to = she is not that interested in sexual activity or utilizing the benefits of your implant for the next many months even if you had it?  If so....and I know I am posing hypotheticals here.....is time really a higher priority than expertise?   Do you really feel that you risk more by waiting than you risk with an unknown surgeon?

These things are highly personal decisions and I realize I don't have enough information to properly frame the questions much less come up with the answers but I just want to make sure you have considered these basics.

Really good advice which I do have to take into account. To be honest sex is probably off the table anyway for awhile. Not sure how sexy my wife feels with half her head shaved and a 4 inch square piece of her skull glued and screwed back together. Not to mention she has 8 weeks of limited activity anyway then 4 to 6 weeks and right back to surgery agai. Then another 8 weeks. It aint going to be a great spring or summer period. I always say there will always be someone worse than you so take things in stride. In this case it definitely is my wife.

I know pretty much everyone on here knows how frustrating ed and peyronies is. Rushing to anything just is not a good choice.  Just for now will keep rolling along, stretching, using ved, and pentox and see how next month goes. Cannot do anything  till mid Feb locally anyway. I still feel Kramer or Eid is a no brainer just not sure if I can wait till the end of 2019 to at least try to get this fixed. Might do like others on here said and spend my kids inheritance and get a boat to project on over the summer. always wanted a gofast.

Just curious, but are Kramer and Eid booked that far in advance?
That would have been a deal breaker for me. By then my wife would probably have lost interest.

I really hope things go well with your wife.

Wait and see talk to Dr Eid he will find a place in his schedule for you. Don't gamble on a guy you don't know your wife is not ready for any action now anyway.

Tomas, you usually get into Kramer or Eid within a month.  SW was talking that far out because of his wife's recovery and other things in his life, not the doctors schedule.
