Hi,
I am 54 and have dealt with ED for the last 6 years or so.  Viagra / Cialis / Sildenafil have all worked well for that.  Now more recently (1-2 months ago), I started to notice that my erection was curving up starting say 1 1/2 - 2 inches from the tip.  I also started waking up at night or in the morning with a painful erection.  The curve is moderate at about 15-20 degrees and I also seem to have lost some length and girth.  I am still able to have intercourse but it is not as easy or enjoyable.  I looked into a urologist in my area but there don't seem to be any that specialize in Peyronies Disease.  I could look into traveling but with Covid that may be difficult.  So I was wondering what I should be doing now to keep things from worsening.  Thanks for any suggestions!

I'd try to get a referral to the best urologist in your area, and you'll likely get a Peyroines diagnosis and they'll give you either sildenafil(generic viagra) or cialis and Pentoxifyllin, then just send you on your way. Then start hunting out a Peyroines specialist. Tom Lue is the best, in San Francisco at UCSF, and i heard Brian Christine in Alabama is good, and there are several others. Just be sure to pick a urologist who only treats Peyroines (they are hard to find but around). A general urologist really won't take much interest in it or be helpful beyond initial diagnosis.

Welcome Longmire,

Although I recommend seeing a specialist, you can certainly begin traction and VED with devices without seeing a specialist, as they can be bought online. The most popular devices, and the one's recommended by Tom Lue and Laurence Levine are RestoreX or PenimasterPro, and as for a VED, many of us use the Somaerect, but please do your own research on these boards.

Longmire, Neo has great advice.  Be sure to read the survival guide and bring your questions here.  It's also a great prep before seeing a specialist!  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057

Thanks all. I ended up ordering a SOMAerectStf.  And then I am going to start some hand traction and I'll see where that goes.

Also, I understood about "boards".  :)  That might be an American term. Each of the topical sections of the forum would be considered a "board". Like the VED area or the Traction area.... etc. 😊

Thanks again and wish me luck!
