Damage by doctor during diagnosis?

Goodday to you all. I'm 45 and have had a mild and stable Peyronies Disease for 12 years, but a year ago it got worse as a result of accidental pressure exerted on my penis (someone stumbling on top of it). I had not tried any medication or supplements yet, so I decided to visit a renowned urologist recently to see whether anything could be done. She proscribed Potaba.
The reason for my post is that this doctor made my Peyronies Disease much worse. Probably by pressing rather hard on the main scar. I asked her straight away whether this could not be detrimental (I have had other seemingly small penile traumas with lasting effect), but she denied. It seems only logical to me, however. Have others had the same experience?
I also wonder if the ultrasound could have done the damage. She denied any risk, but there are guidelines for diagnostic exposure to ultrasound for good reason. And even if she has followed the official standards, that may not be safe enough for everybody. What do you think?
Thanks for your support.

Trauma associate with Peyronies is usually inflicted while one is erect. I am sure there are exceptions but I for one do not believe that applying some pressure on the spot while flaccid will do anything detrimental.  In fact on e of the latest treatments is a drug called Xiaflex injected into the plaque followed by several days of 'modeling'. And modeling involves applying pressure while flaccid and trying to help the drug act by breaking up the plaque.

That's an interesting comparison. And indeed, within 2 days I seem to have more than recovered.

Personally I never let doctors touch my penis anymore, because often they are rough and it causes me a great deal of pain which can last days or weeks afterwards.  But I have never had worsening of symptoms other than pain that I can attribute to a doctor handling my penis.

Sorry, but I am really confused.
From one side you are stating you have Peyronies for 12 years already,
Then a year ago it got worse as a result of accidental pressure,
Then this doctor made my Peyronies Disease much worse. Probably by pressing rather hard on the main scar,
Then in an other post, within 2 days I seem to have more than recovered.
May I ask: recovered from what?
Can you give us some information regarding your Peyronies symptoms?

Thanks for your replies. I haven't logged in for 2 months, so here's a belated answer. I meant I recovered from the impaired erections right after the doctors tweak, although erections can still remain dented at that spot. Plus the blood flow and size of the flaccid penis have improved markedly. A modeling-like effect, as suggested, that I may be wise to try again in a less heavy-handed manner.

The accident a year ago (to a half-swollen penis) left 3 thickened rings left and right around the corpora cavernosa, which probably explain the severe (flaccid) shrinkage I had witnessed since. I think I saw these scars clearly on the ultrasound as 3 lines across the penis, but this doctor didn't say anything about it. Am I right taking this for Peyronie's also, albeit atypical? Is Potaba useful for these scars too, or some other treatment?

Fate struck again and my (flaccid) penis got pressured by the safety girdle that I wore to secure someone abseiling from a climbing wall. Progressively over the last 2 weeks, shrinkage grew worse than ever and erections have suffered badly, falling back in no time. At one side of the base the tendon protrudes noticeably, sometimes the tendons/structures all around the base feel thickened.  Above the squeezed tendon (that can hurt in a stabbing way) the erection is slightly tightened.

I found a few entries on tendons, but have no idea what to make of this new condition, if it will get better or worse by itself, or what I can do about it. Does any of you guys know?!

Go see a Peyronies specialist or at lest a good urologist to be diagnosed and start treatment.
We don't have too many (if at all) success stories with Potaba.
In my opinion, a good treatment (if you have Peyronies) will be Pentox, low dose Cialis, CoQ10 and VED.
Other members may have other view regarding treatment start.
By the way, we don't have tendons in the penis. It may be string like plaque ore vein.
