Simply still gathering on-line and off-line information, and cautiously optimistic about the degree the angle will go.

I'm partnered and gay, and have not made this new revelation a factor in our lives. At 51 I'm OK with it. For now. But during this acute stage I want to try to do everything possible to minimize trauma to the shaft and attention paid to it physically or mentally.

Anyhow, I really appreciate this forum, and access to all information on the web. I feel better informed.

Thanks

Geez there's bucket loads of information. Thank you ALL!!!

Just ordered CoQ10, which I missed in my other on-line searches for all OTC supplements that have some success with a majority of those who have used it.

I'm certainly weighing in on the VED's and cost. But think I'll wait until I see my Primary Physician and Urologist first. Dec 4th is 1st Appt. I'm in the Florida Humana health care environment.

I chose to take a handful of supplements to help reduce inflammation overall and promote circulation and health (I'm on my 3rd full week), and found no stomach upset, but have slept soundly, like never before. Its been great, because I typically sleep 3 to 6 hours nightly. Now I am 6 to 7 hours nightly. Regimen is Cataplex B (1250); Aloe Vera (5000mg); Fish Oil (1000mg x 2); Acetyl L-Carnitine (250mg); Tocotrienols (200mg); Vitamin E (400iu); and Zyflamend. I also eat 3 to 5 Brazil Nuts. And I have a teaspoon of L-Arginine in cold water.

I've given up all dairy; coffee; and believe it or not PROCESSED FOODS. Only 3 or 4 days a week do I have a Kashi type cereal for breakfast with Coconut milk. Luv Coconut milk.

As previously stated my partner and I noticed my HEAD turning slightly upward about 6 weeks ago, and it slowly continues. I can feel a small hard plague-like object just shy of the head on the top of the shaft, hence the upward angle. First photographs were Oct 24th. My entire erect penis now has a definite S curve to it, that never existed before. Next photos will be next week on 24th (I thought monthly photos was enough to capture changes during the acute stage). Also I can provide them to Doctors / Uroligist in case getting an erection in an office environment proves challenging.

Psychologically I am OK for the moment. I guess having begun studying meditation over last couple of years has helped me not ATTACH too much emphasis to any one event, etc. So that's been a bonus.

Sexually I am concerned. Starting last week the upward bend could be noticed by both partners. But simply noticed. And this week the top of the head actually rubbed a little raw, due to the upward angle of the head. I expected that. Just not so soon.

I'm thinking its time to slow down the sexual activity that my penis participates in. Due to the supposed plagues location, the shaft itself is mostly straight (still), so I am thinking of just masterbating to release sexual tension, without really including the head. Maybe that would work for a while, until Doctor and Urologist confirm everything, and weigh in on how to proceed. (I'm in PPO currently that only allows me to see PCP first, then referred out to Urologist. Jan 1st I change over to HMO where I can go directly to any specialist).

OK...enuff for one day.

Again thanks for all the postings and comments and FOLLOW UP from all you devoted fans of Peyronnies. Nice to know I'm not truly alone.

I would certainly recommend traction, with care of course.
