My husband just found out about his symptoms 1month ago,he already has seen 2 uros and they told him the routin things,he is so depresed and he mentions here and there that he is going to leave me if things get pretty bad,as for myself sex not at all a priority and he knows that but he keeps saying that no matter how many times i reassure him im not gonna leave even if he wants me to  :) , now as he is in the depression phase and not having strenght to do nothing i thought its better for me to check what i can do in internet and i found this forume,
As Im a realy newbie and my question may realy seem obvious to you but want to know if a doctor just by examining say is the plaque has been calsified or no?
And just to say feels good to know im not the only one in the world with the issue :)

I split your post that you may have your own topic on the introductory board.
The link bellow will give you some knowledge:
Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums
Best results with treatments can get if Peyronies is treated as soon as possible.
What are the routine things you are mentioning?
A doctor can see if the plaque is calcified by making an ultrasound check.
Let us know what your husband symptoms are, members will be able to tell you they opinion about.
Your husband reaction is not unusual for Peyronies sufferers.
We have a woman only board, not accessible to male members. Write a PM to Christine or  LWillisjr to get access.

Moosio;
As James says, you husband's reaction is not unusual. However, he has two options. To be positive and start the fight back against this disease, or to drown in his own self pity. Perhaps you can try to encourage him to fight this?

Yes, he needs an ultrascan to determine the extent of the plaque and if there is calcification. Read all you can on this forum. Or even better, get him to do it. There is more good information on fighting this disease than you will find anywhere else.

Good luck. But your husband needs to fight back against this disease. Starting now!

Hello Moosio, sorry to hear of the problems you and your husband are experiencing. Something that might help him would be making contact with other men who are going through the same ordeal. Finding this forum really helped me. Even though I have a wonderful supportive wife and family, there is no substitute for guys who know exactly how you feel, and the guys on here are a great bunch. There are lots of options available for your hubby and you to try. Some of the self help therapies might seem a little strange at first (like VED and traction) but they have really helped a lot of men on here if used correctly.

Thanx for the support, the problem is English is not our native language and he will not understand the texts,i try to read them and share them with him,his doctor just has prescribed vitamin E and some thing else that i havent seen the name anywhere in the texts mentioned and it seems its an anti inflamation drug.fortunately my brother lives in us and i have access to otc supplements,i already have ordered some serrapeptas and natokinase, hope they will work somehow, and already is taking uboquinol, just trying to push him into a healthier life style,
Trying to cope,
Thanx for the positive vibes :)

Thanx for replying,by routines i meant they told him its peyronies and there in really nothing that can be done about it,but they said it has been classified without doing any ultrasound,i dont know if we should specifically ask for one or no?
Thanx and sorry for language faults :)

Try to find an other doctor. Vitamin E is an old school solution, not helping to much.
An ultrasound in flaccid will show the plaque size and location, also if it is calcified or not.
I was going on Pentox, low dose Cialis, Ubiquinol (taking already) and VED.
By the way, for many of us English is not our mother language so don't worry, we understand you very well.
