Hi, I 'm naturegirl, married to a sufferer.  He was diagnosed just over 2 years ago.  We have been married nearly 30 years & have always been a very sexual couple. He is 62,I am 56. As you can imagine that was a pretty devastating blow, the pain & the bewilderment had a negative effect on relations for a while but with the help of our family doctor and a very understanding Tantric practitioner we have been able to work around his little problem & even been able to turn one aspect to our advantage!
I am looking forward to reading all your experiences & sharing ours with you.

We can all learn from each other. Would be interested if you did anything to improve to curve, or have learned how to manage with it.

We have learned to live with it, it's a relatively mild curvature (25 to 30 degrees?), so it doesn't pose too much of a problem where penetration is concerned. It's more the psychological impact, Phil has always been a proud man and he dislikes this perceived imperfection!
W hat has helped to mitigate this is the fact that sex in certain positions actually make things more enjoyable for me! The curve brings the tip of his penis into better contact with my Gspot, so it's a case of "an ill wind...."!!!

When life gives you lemons...........I'm glad you guys have found a way to turn it ( pun intended ) to your advantage. I would stress that point because, believe me, his ego as a man has taken a major hit. You would not believe how much importance we put on the usefulness of our penises. Keep on supporting him. You will be the best medicine he can get.

naturegirl,
Thanks for the response. Many men (and women) could learn from this. I've spoken to many men who also have slight curvatures (less than 30 degrees). Now they feel they are deformed and mentally devastated. They are willing to even undergo surgery in the hopes of correcting a slight perceived deformity. And the reality is that they are quite capable of having a full and rich sex life and can take advantage of their new shape.

Curves in the 35 degree and greater range start to pose challenges for good sex. I applaud the fact that you and your significant other have embraced the change.

Hey Naturegirl, Good job in supporting your husband. My wife and I are the exact ages of you and your husband and have been married 35 years, and also very active. Our first " bend in the road" was me having prostate cancer and then 2 years later getting hit with peyronies!! We too have found some positions(like missionary hard to do) and others easier than before the curve! Keep up the positive attitude and you will succeed. Regards Inkhorn

Wow! So much nice support :). Thanks guys, yes it has been a bit of a hard road, but things are working out now. One question: the pain subsided pretty much like our doctor predicted, now we have noticed that the "lump" has disappeared too, but the curvature hasn't changed, is that par for the course?

Norm

It is. At least in my case. All I have left is the curve, and the loss of length and girth that goes along with it. Once he is at that stage, there is not likely to be any more change. The only change now will be dependent on the course of action he takes.
