I'm 54 going on 55. Married 29 years with 8 children. I'm a grower, not a shower and have been happy with my 6.5-7" erect length. I was first diagnosed with mild curvature in my 30s. No pain during intercourse. I learned some jelqing or stretching techniques and have done them off and on. The exercises do seem to have helped. However, this year I developed a more pronounced curvature to the left and upwards. I noticed a spot on the upper right side of the shaft near the base of my penis. I don't recall any injuries. I assume it is an area of plaque. I told my doctor about it who is scheduling me to see a urologist.  I have experienced some shrinkage but still able to have satisfying intercourse with my wife. Again, no pain. I have resumed stretching and milking exercises. Additionally, I have some prostate issues and some ED. Once daily Cialis is helping significantly with those conditions. I feel like I'm 18 again with my nighttime and morning erections.  However the curve is still there. I looked at acoustic wave therapy. It is supposed to help with ED but not well established for Peyronies. And here in Iowa runs about $12,000 and not covered by insurance. I don't want surgery. I'd be open to traction but very open to injections to help dissolve the plaque. Thoughts?
30 degree bend up & to left.  Possible injury with woman above, penis buckled during insertion. ED & prostate issues. No pain. Cialis. Restorex since March '25. vitamin E, Emu oil, epsom salt gel. Some improvement. Plaque on top left side near base.

Hello MexItali,

I would search through the threads, there hasn't been much success with shockwave therapy.  In fact some on here report it made their condition worse and brought on other conditions.

Search shockwave in the search tab, it will bring up all threads where it was mentioned.

Hope this helps.

Be well.

Do not inject anything on your penis and don't do the Shockwave, I never see one single guy getting better with those "therapies". I personally did both and got worse
My first symptoms started early in 2019
I tried Traction device, Pentofixiline, Q10, TRT, L-Argenine, cialis
I have narrowing/dent/hinge on the left side of my shaft
My ED is getting worse

My doctor told me that the shockwave treatment is not supported by science. It is not FDA approved nor covered by insurance. So I'm not interested in that. Open to injection if plaque is discovered but I'm seeing mixed results in this forum. Is the best results found with traction? What about flaccid stretching?

I would say that you should look into traction therapy with either the Restorex or the PMP and remeber that these therapies take time and patience and consistency. Don't waste your money on shockwave therapy and don't do manual traction either. Read up and educate yourself about traction devices and how they are applied.
