Hello guys!
I'm sorry to be here, but I'm happy to be here.. If ya know what I mean.. My first question is regarding available doctors who will take my United Care Health Insurance. I contacted Dr. Eld and his office does not take it. Anyone has this insurance or know of Doctors who will take it? Any recommended doctors in Texas.. Thanks much for replies.. Thanks for all the knowledge and experience this board brings!

It is difficult to recommend a Dr. when we do not know what you want from a doctor (diagnosis, Xiaflex, surgery, & if so what kind,  etc)

Dr. Allen Morey at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas

One highly regarded doctor in Texas is Dr. Morey in Dallas......I want to make this perfectly clear. He is a surgeon. He does surgeries that reconstruct the penis....I am 65 years old. I had an eighty degree curve....I am straight now. All my plumbing works fine. I am back to a normal sex life for however many years of it I have remaining....And, I recommend him because he does not de-glove the penis with his surgery. He does all of his work through a 2 cm incision. That is all the scar you will have. If you are worried about circumcision, he does not have to circumcise you unless you want it. It is the most minimally invasive surgery that any of us knows of. I have a normal sex life now thanks to Dr. Morey.
An other opinion....I saw Morey last week.  I'm in the first six months of bending -- I was pretty quickly ushered out of the clinic and was told, "come back in a year if you turn chronic, and we can talk surgery.  Every other treatment is crap -- there's nothing you can do."  He was very dismissive over all.
Opinion(February 2016. I had the penile placation done a year ago and could not be happier that I had it done....Dr Morey...He did the surgery on me last April and I am so grateful I found him.

Thanks much Hawk.. I have been dealing with ED for over 2 years now and I'm tired of meds, stretches, pumps, injections (which I believe caused me to get peyronies). I've read a few of the journals over the past few days. I am ready to make the move towards surgery. I don"t want my condition to get worse in the form of curvature, or shortening in length. I'm looking to find a good doctor who takes my insurance first, and if that fails then I will try to make arrangements to see Dr. Eld or maybe Dr. Kramer.. Thanks so much for your help in this forum. I'll keep the forum informed of what I find out in my search. Thanks again.
