Basically, they cut into the tunica albuginea (top and bottom) and place a graft in between the incisions that makes a longer tunica.  The graft is presumably from the saphenous vein (used for coronary bypass) or another source like processed tissue (cow pericardium is one source I think).  So, that's how it works in a nutshell.  Read it, it is called the Sliding Technique

The doctor that is doing this is in NYC now.  I found this on phalloboards but it actually seems legit, first time i'm hearing this.  This could help with guys who have ED and need to go down the implant route, but who also have peyronies and could regain length from penile shortening.

Your thoughts?  I hope this may be the answer for some of us and is shown to be a legit surgery!!!

Thank you for posting the article.
Promising indeed for those people that will go on the way of implant and have lost length to the Peyronies. Myself lost 5 cm, so if I will get back 4 it will be excellent.
From the point of view of lost girth, I didn't found something that suppose to correct it. They are mentioning that will not be loss of girth, but not mentioning girth gain.
The article was posted in September 2012, more than two years ago and it was made on three man. Interesting to know what happening right now, if additional surgeries in this stile were made. In a search by google I didn't find answers.

Yes, I was not sure when the article was posted.  It would be nice to find out how the guys did follow up, but it definitely seems like a legitimate article and study, correct?  And with the surgery it states that only length gains would come out of it I believe, and the girth would be natural girth that the implant could give you based on your size.

Would be interesting if somebody could get in contact with the top implant surgeons and see what they say about this.
