Has anyone tried Tamoxifen? Could 20 mg/day help, instead of the recomended 40?

Anyone? I am a bit scared of side-effects from that medication, just the alopecia part. I got Peyronies from eating Propecia for male pattern baldness and now I have to take a medicine that can cause it. Oh the irony..

Could a dose of 20mg/day for 3 months, work instead of the dose of 40 mg /day?

First of all: I haven't tried Tamoxifen. But I've had very good results taking Acetyl-L-Carnitine for pain relief.
