FIRST APPROVED TREATMENT FOR THE ACTIVE PHASE OF PEYRONIES DISEASE!!!!!!

-🍆Peyronie's disease is a disorder of the penis characterised by the formation of fibrous plaques, which can cause curvature of the penis during erection, pain and, in some cases, erectile dysfunction.

-👨�🦳 It affects approximately 0.5% to 9% of adult men, being more common between the ages of 40 and 70, although it can occur at any age.

For the first time, we have a drug approved for its treatment in the acute phase of the disease: Perovial Hyaluronic Acid Intraplaque Injection by @lbsa

-👌This treatment appears to: halt the progression of the disease, reduce pain, and partially correct penile deviation.

-Yesterday we held a meeting of experts to define the strategy for how to make it available to Spanish professionals. Some of the country's leading experts on this pathology met, not all of us were there, but those who were, were all there.  Other experts in Spain have also Great experience and will contribute for sure to the development of this treatment, this was a first meeting and we needed a small functional group. I am very grateful to my colleagues for contributing so much knowledge and experience: Josep Torremadé Barreda Borja García Gómez Rodrigo García-Baquero Enrique Lledó García Saturnino Luján.
