Whathappened

Hi all. Been lurking for a while. I have a basic question. I know what to do and have competent doctors now. Have had this for @12 months, maybe a little longer since onset.

I have calcified plaque. One dorsal and one ventral.

It appears to be getting worse lately despite efforts.

I have been taking all the supps and have been doing VED and traction all to no avail. But only been doing it for about the last 1.5 months due to bad initial advice. So I realize I haven't been doing it for very long. Initially erections seemed better, but that has tapered off. Seems thinner and bend seems a bit worse now.

I don't have erectile dysfunction. But I was told I have minor venous leakage.

How long would you continue with the routine here before you got an implant?

I initially thought I should wait one year and attack this from every angle before proceeding in a surgery direction, but I am second guessing myself. I don't want to watch it get worse and worse and then get to the operation and see that I have lost 3 more inches or whatever. I already lost 2 inches.

I do not believe in miracles. I don't believe a miracle vitamin will save me. That is all b.s. And I don't want to put off what seems inevitable anyway. I see no reason why things would improve. And if surgery is inevitable then it stands to reason I should go there with as much length and girth as I can muster. I don't want to wait another year and go there with it even shorter and thinner and more bent.

Won't this typically just get a lot worse? How much length can you lose? I know this is an open ended question. I just assume that given enough time it will end up ossified and 1 inch long.

I know this sounds negative and all that, but I am a realist. Things don't get better unless you are lucky. And they will not cure this any time soon.

How long to wait until inevitable implant?

Thoughts?

You seem a little panicked. Slow down and research. No need to rush implants. There are several successful procedures out there to help you. Keep reading this forum and you will see success stories. I know how you feel about wanting it corrected NOW! It is a loss of "manhood" which hurts our pride. Take your time and talk to your doctors. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm not interested in grafting or plication though. I'll try xiaflex. Or whatever else. But I know how this will roll.

Hello. Venous leakage is erectile dysfunction too.  What device where you on? Did you followed any protocol? Did you take measurements? Have you read the survival guide?

Whathappened

I said minor venous leakage.
Penimaster pro.
Old Man's VED protocol.
Pentox, Arginine/citrulline, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Ginger and curcumin, celebrex
Yes, read guide
Yes. Took measurements. Not of curve, because doctor did not do. But prolly between 35-45 degrees. According to him and according to my own guess.

Welcome!  A year ago I never thought I would have had surgery, but here I am.  I had excision and grafting, and I have regained my lost length, minus maybe 1/2 an inch, and with the help of pelvic floor therapy I am now pain free.  Still not out of the woods yet as I am still experiencing some numbness, but I am close.  Be aggressive.  You know your body better than anyone.  If you want it fixed, find the best doctor out there that agrees and fix it.  It is a journey for sure, but you can make this situation better.

Here is reality:

Younger people, maybe up to age 30, should fight this for a while. Because any correction, and this will only happen in a small number of people anyway, can be held on to for a little while.

Anyone older than that, venous leakage will get worse. Erectile function will get worse no matter what you do. Curvature will increase. Plaques will grow.

If you have calcification, there is nothing to be done. Give up immediately.

Grafting and plication surgery is pointless. Peyronie's returns in almost all cases and length is lost. Risk of complications are too great. If you had a good outcome, you're just lucky.

Anyone over the age of 30 should get an implant the day they are diagnosed with peyronie's. Should be a conveyor belt that takes you into surgery right from the doctor's office.

What is the point of fighting? It will never be as it was. No matter what you do.

People will argue about this, but you are all wrong.

Watch this...

Wait for it....

I have been lurking on this site long enough to know 10 people (or more likely zero) will come along and tell me I have a "negative attitude." But not one person will answer my original question.

"How long should you fight this until getting an implant?" and "how much length, etc. can you lose/is typical to lose, and how quickly and how long should you allow this to progress before running to an implant surgeon?"

Plenty of people will tell me to read the survival guide and get plenty of sleep and take vitamins and do keto, etc. though.
