Title: 2nd lump?
Post by: thegreycat on September 12, 2022, 11:05:15 AM
Hi

I'm around 6 months in to having a left-side lump, dent and hinge, which around 3 months ago worsened significantly in terms of erectile pain.

Recently, I *think* I've found a new lump, however I'm not 100% sure.

It's right underneath the glans in the centre, almost inside them, and feels like it's bang smack right in the very middle of the penis itself, rather than on the surface like my left hand lump.

If I stretch my penis out I can feel a raised, very small bump where this is, but it comes and goes and sometimes I can't seem to find it.

It's not an area I've really examined much previously so I'm not 100% sure what I'm actually feeling. Looking at anatomy diagrams of the penis I'm not sure what I could be feeling if not for a plaque.

I was already in a bad place with this, however this has me feeling even worse.

Still potentially months away from a Urologist appointment (waiting for the referral letter to come through) and really starting to lose any remaining hope.

Wondering if anyone can shed any light or has experienced similar?

Cheers

Hello thegreycat,

Speaking for myself since I got diagnosed, I'm looking and feeling down there often.  I've gained some lumpy looking things when flaccid but when I feel under the skin nothing is there.  Once in a while it feels like to me there is but there isn't.  I think it's possible our minds got us thinking there's more?...

Be well.

Hey Frank

Yeah I'm definitely "examining" myself down there more than I ever have in my life ever up until now, but I just can't ever remember feeling this before... I felt the same about my original lump at the side, but that's definitely way closer to the surface than this one.

Hello again,

Did you get an appointment for a uro?  How many opinions have you had?  I had three, two uros and my PCP.  I learned so much though in this forum, I check it every night.

I hope everything works out for you.

Waiting on my referral to a urologist to come through. Apparently after the last couple of years the NHS is taking a battering for these kinds of things.

Thanks for your kind words.

All the best to you.
