As I have already written in my imagination, I am now faced with the decision of whether to have a ESWT performed or not.
I feel torn, on the one hand it costs me 250€ (~280$) per session and I would have to travel 600km totally each time. Then there aren't really many reports of successful treatment, at least not as far as bending the penis, pain relief isn't my concern.
But then there is hope for the doctor who is treating me, who really is a specialist in peyronie disease. He also does a lot of research in this area and has published this study, among other things, for me as an absolute layman it at least sounds like there is hope (~50% that there is an improvement in bending).

Long story short, I don't know what to do :(
As English is not my mother tongue and it is difficult to fully understand the study, I would like to know your opinion, would you give it a try?
what doctor is it? Where would you have to travel to? Have you tried anything else yet like pentox, cialis, l-arginine, or VED? Private message me
In my opinion I would say that you are wasting your money. You should look into VED therapy and possibly traction. Restorex has helped improve curvatures and has been tested. Supplements can also be a benefit also. I hate to see anyone waste their hard earned money on something that is so controversial .
I already use the Osbon for VED and PMP for traction. Unfortunately, RestoreX is not readily available here in Europe.
In his reports, Dr. Porst speaks of improvements "only" in 47% of the patients.
I'll wait a little longer and if the situation continues to deteriorate, I might try.
Would be nice to read about your experiences, once you startet the ESWT. There are some doctors, that charge a bit less money. The cheapest offer was about 160€, usually it's about 200€ per session. Among german urologists Prof. Porst is generally being said to have gathered the most expertise, since he has been using a large number of different devices for a long time now. He definetly knows how to work together with manufactures and pharma industry. Nethertheless, I'd recommend to be cautious, even with him. I personally made both, good and bad experiences - however I have not tried ESWT yet.
The Shockwaves made my erections and deviation slightly worse
I only had 2 sessions. The first seemed to help the 2nd I couldn't really tell much of a difference.

Have you tried any other treatments recently (or are you on the way to another one?)
I have a similar condition with my penis, as you described in your "foot description" (I'm 40s too) so I'm interested in following your treatment journey.
I visited a doctor here in Argentina a couple of weeks ago who offered me a treatment with LI-ESWT, but it's really expensive (USD 3,300x 6 sessions). Now I'm in doubt and unsure if it's worth it.
Thanks!
VentosP, I also did a O Zone therapy combined with PRP injection that caused me more damage, do not try anything that is nor proven to work, because every single thing that I tried it made my penis worse

:-\ What about PTT (like RestoreX), Have you tried it? I'll travel to NY in october so I'll be taking advantage of my travel to buy it. I'd prefer to avoid invasive treatments like injections (at least for now!).
thanks a lot!
