Title: Indentations at scar site becoming pronounced
Post by: Eric_C on March 23, 2021, 08:51:48 AM
Hi guys,

I guess I have pretty much tailed off the basic treatments I was using: Occasional tadalafil, occasional L-citrulline, vitamin e orally. And now, after a period of prolonged lack of sexual interest after an abrupt relationship ending, I have noticed my indentations are becoming much more pronounced. They cut into the shaft much sharper than before, which has worried me and forced me back into action.

I'm on a no sugar diet and going to watch the saturated fat content - admittedly I've not been eating too well during this post-break-up period. Also, I'm a strong coffee drinker and have the tendency towards being chronically dehydrated.

Any suggestions on where/how I can start to get a handle on this again would be most appreciated.

I've never been on Pentox - no-one will supply it in the UK. I've tried to obtain medicated gels for Peyronies Disease but failed, they exist in the US only and they would not sell it externally.

I have a supply of tadalafil, but have not taken it for a long time as I found it wasn't necessary. Potentially my NTE have been weak for a while... I just tried to get an erection and the narrowing due to the scar was significant - the volume was low, the rigidity was low, even whilst standing, which is my strongest position.

I'll take a 2.5mg tadalafil today and see what effect that has.

How have people managed to improve indentations? I tried VED initially (acute stage <1yr) and it caused a worsening of my condition unfortunately. Probably because i followed the 3 pumps recommended and that was too much for me.

Never tried traction.

Quitting coffee completely rid of my hard flaccid. Just a heads up

I see, well that's good. Sounds like your HF was caused by muscle tension in the pelvic floor through sympathetic nervous system arousal via caffeine... just a guess. My HF is much better now to be fair. It waxes and wanes in firmness dependent on the muscular tension in that area.

When My hard flaccid started after my initial injury, I had already been caffeine free for a few months. It went away around the same time I started drinking caffeine again which is more than likely a coincidence but I can say for sure caffeine probably doesn't cause hard flaccid for me.

Eric c, I have the same issues as you do, I tried all the oral supplements, Traction, VED, PRP injection.. In my case the VED seems to make my condition worse, Traction is not helping, PRP gave me great erections for two weeks but now the effects are gone. My urologist told me that he doesn't recommend surgery yet because I can still get erections, and said that my hourglass is not too severe yet, so I will start to do heat combining with traction, I will report if I see any improvements doing the combination. You are not alone in this battle, don't give up

it's weird because caffeine is shown to reduce the odds of getting ED

Hi Bud Luck,

Sorry for the late reply. I shall send you a PM shortly. Too late this moment, but I shall definitely get back to you. Only just seen your message this instance.

And to echo back what you said to me, you are certainly not alone in this either.

Hi Anbil,

I'll take a look at that link tomorrow. I've heard arguments both for and against caffeine when it comes to Peyronie's. I can't exactly remember the negative argument now.
