Title: what is the safe penile traction device to use ?
Post by: Unknownhide on January 01, 2020, 11:52:32 PM
hi guys
i have been having narrowing at the shaft of penis in semi erect and flaccid states  since along time
oral treatment did not work for me , it was just a waste of money
So i decided to go through physical therapy
Do you recommend manual traction or a device ?
i wonder if the manual traction gonna work as the stretching process needed to be long time
Also which is the safest traction device do you recommend to use  ?
and if i bought any device online would it be a risk to use ?

Highly regarded traction devices with the glans suction cup are penimaster pro and ESL40...both best worn 6-8 hrs/day.  Or restorex which only needs to be worn 30-60 minutes per day.  Avoid those w a noose type.

Really interesting question, Unknowhide!
Tony, why, in your opinion, the glans suction cups - devices are better? Please explain . Thank you!
P.S. = Should i wear them for 6 hours in a row or i should take some pauses? And are they easy to use ?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

You can only wear the noose type fir two hours max before a break, the suction cup can be worn by most for many hours at a time.

If you don't mind taking breaks every two hours the noose types will work as well.

When I used my "strap type" extender to stretch my penis I couldn't wear it longer than 1 hour ever. I would stop get some circulation in and then restrap. Sometimes 10+ hours a day.

You have to avoid getting cold and you have to put some sort(which is very individual for everyone) of intensity that actually does something.
If you can wear something for hours I would think you're not getting enough traction.(but wearing it for longer time daily could make up for it)

Vacuum type cups on the glans can be much easier to handle and extend the usage time but you have to care to not get glans blisters from the vacuum.

I would avoid extenders that are strapped to the leg. That creates very uneven hard to measure pull.

I do not own a Restore X but just looking at it's functions(rotation and bends) it seems to be a great device for Peyronies Disease.(I did do bends and rotations DIY with a normal extender..)

thanks guys
i really appreciate your advice
so when they recommend to wear the device up to 6 hours , it doesnt mean to wear it 6 consecutive hours in a row
so i got to wear it two hours and rest one hour and so on ,right ?

The noose type worked fine for me, but a lot of people have issues with it.

yes.
At best you wear it for as long as you can, without causing adverse effects, while creating a tension that stretches the plaque. For me that was at least 3 hours a day, around 45 minutes each set, before I had to restrap.
Now, how long and at what intensity that is you for you, you will have to find out for yourself. Start with low time low intensity and go from there. Cold, discoloration or tingling means you should've loosened a good amount of time before that. Observe. Don't wear and forget or sleep.

i am really hesitating to use it or not as i am afraid from any further damage
i think i will figure out how much time and tension according to my case

In any case, starting with something new, introducing something like traction you start with a very low amount of time and traction/intensity.
Start with 5 minutes at a light stretch and go from there.
