Title: Penis Extender - Weak Erection
Post by: Magyar_99 on November 19, 2019, 03:27:58 AM
Greetings all,

I have been recently using a penis extender (Male Edge). It's doing a good job straightening my penis as I have Peyronie's Condition, however, I have noticed that my erections are much weaker and I have a hard time holding one, too. Also, it seems that I actually lost some size, but that is because of the weak erections. When I take a break from using it (max was one week break), my erections get a lot better. Does anybody else experience such a problem? I appreciate any comments.

Thanks.

Strangely, if anything, most notice that using an extender increases erection quality.  Some experience no effect on erection but I am not sure I ever had anyone suggest it decreased erection quality.

Correlation doesn't always=causation. Maybe your erection quality was diminishing for another reason and you attribute it to the traction device?

Thanks for the replies,

I have noticed that I have been less able to arouse myself, nor be aroused in general (seeing an attractive girl, for example). As a 20 year old male that eats healthy this is strange to me and I am sure to others. Maybe it's because I am at a Mormon university where sex is taboo haha, so I think about it less.

Back off on the tension and the time, and see what happens. Usually the issue is too much tension.

I thought that was an issue, so I went to only three hours a day vs four. I will take a break from it until my penis heals from the strain and start slow again keeping it at low tension, like you said.

Stretching actually causes some local inflammation due to the tissue-stress that usually goes away in 12-24 hours. Probably your EQ dropped due to the inflammation, and if you take a pause of 1 month you'll probably have your EQ back .Keep us updated!

Thanks for the reply. I will take that one month break! I will update with any progress.

Hi, any update on this? Thinking about doing the same and wondering about results / side effects.
Also, do you have an upward or downward curvature?

Old thread but yes this is possible. The reason is that you can think of the penis as a bicycle tire made out of the outer tube and the inner tube. The inner tube is the muscle. An erection is kept when the inner tube pushes against the outer tube and prevents blood from escaping. If you stretch the outer tube you will not stretch the inner tube therefore blood won't be trapped leading to ED. This is called a venous leak.

You can get it diagnosed with an injected erection and ultrasound. Most likely if you stop the outer tube will go back to normal and the erection quality should return.

This is why penis enlargement stretching is dangerous but people with peyronies stretch scar tissue which has contracted and don't stretch the outer tube necessarily.
