Hello all,
I am a 29 year old male who has been suffering from ever-worsening ED for about 6 years now. At this point I have no morning wood and cannot get or maintain erections. I believe it was caused by some overzealous jelqing penis enlargement exercises I did for a few months back when I was 23.
I have had a Doppler scan and the left side of my penis showed no blood flow and likely has fibrosis. The head also does not get engorged at all even with injections.
I am very grateful for this forum so far; it has given me a lot of hope and made me feel less alone.
Also, when I got the injection for the Doppler, my erection would not go down and they had to give me the anecdote/drain blood 3 times before it went down. Does this mean this will happen to me if I went the trimix route? Or do they use a different medicine for the Doppler injection?
This happened to me. I was going into be assessed for the Xiaflex injection. They had to induce an erection using the trimix compound. Needless to say I ended up with priapism and spent the rest of the afternoon having blood removed from my penis. Horrible day to say the least the fibrosis caused from getting needles placed in constantly left me 20 times worse than I was before I went in for Xiaflex treatment. Horrible!
I now have a hard nodule where they drained all the blood out and it doesn't seem to be going away. Is there anything that can be done about this?
Thanks,
Nick
It might be plaque from the injection site. Any time there are micro traumas to the penis it is not a good thing. When you palpate the nodule is it hard or is it pliable? If it is pliable it is not calcified yet. Is it causing a curve or interfering with erections in any way?
The nodule is just probably healing scar tissue and could very well just dissolve over time. I would just wait and leave it alone to see if it shrinks up.
That is smart. Sometimes things go away on their own. Some of us were not so lucky.
