Title: L-Arginine dosage

Hello all,

I take 3g of L-arginine daily, not necessarily for ED (luckily do not have it), but just to keep more blood flow to my penis. Is 3g enough, too much, or not enough?

I'm in similar place my Peyronies specialist suggested I take 3 gms daily.
I hated the taste of it and read that L-citrilline was as or if not more effective.
It certainly tastes better and cheaper for bodybuilding / gyms.

L-Citrulline is the more preferred supplement as being more easily converted into nitric oxide.  I have tried both and found it to be true. It is true that arginine is what directly converts into NO ,but the absorption is not as good as citrulline when taken by mouth. Citrulline then converts easily in the body to arginine when needed for the conversion to NO. 3 grams is enough.

You can take 10 grams daily without issue. That is the typical dose body builders take it's an essential amino acid not a drug.
