Title: Is finding meaning really different than finding happiness?
Post by: Hawk on April 02, 2021, 11:24:49 AM
I think this speaker makes excellent points but I disagree with her definition of happiness.  Happiness IS meaning.  Finding meaning is finding happiness.

It is just an argument of semantics so in principle, I do not disagree with the speaker.  Happiness is not the same as fun but it is the same as meaning.

Your thoughts?

Havent watched the video yet it doesnt load for some reason but responded to your comment.

I want to specifically discuss the points made in this video with anyone who actually makes the effort to watch the video and wants to discuss it.  Since you did not watch it I would have to recount the entire presentation or discuss some other aspect.
