Do many urologists in the US prescribe or recommend VED for peyronies patients?
I can tell you as a new diagnosee, my doc told me no, VEDs WILL NOT work. He said other than same anecdotal success by patients who may have improved on their own, there is no evidence a VED will do ANYTHING other than risk additional damage. This frankly shocked me, having been reading here.
The leading urologists in the US prescribing VED
The prescription usually is for ED and not for Peyronies.
On this forum, many members including me benefited from VED therapy

I was told (David Ralph, St Peter's Andrology, London) that you could get up to 20deg improvement using VED alone. I went on to Xiaplex with VED, but was measured from a photo at 70 deg first, and started VED on its own, for three months before I started Xiaplex. On starting Xiaplex I was measured at 50 deg with an induced erection. I can't say that difference was all VED, since a photo is not an accurate way of measuring, especially with a compound curve, but I certainly attribute some of the difference to VED alone.
