Title: Varicose veins affecting peyronies? Doctors say it's in my head? WARNING pics
Post by: jj21 on June 29, 2022, 05:46:43 AM
As you can see from the pics, I have some prominent veins on my penis and scrotum.

I've done an ultrasound and seen a vascular surgeon. They basically told me that on the scrotum right side is a varicose vein (not a varicocele) and that theres nothing I can do about it. They are not sure why it is painful and say the pain is probably peyronies related. On the shaft I also have varicose veins and as you can see, when flaccid there is what looks like a bulge of veins. All on the right side.

These veins have been weighing my penis to one side and causing major pain and discomfort. They were always there after peyronies but have become worse over time. I have to be extra careful when pumping and using restorex.

I have no idea what to do about this ? If anyone has any experience or advice I would really like to hear it.. The vascular surgeon and GP just told me to live with it but I am constantly in pain. When seated, it weighs down my penis to one side which causes pain on my peyronies dent. Almost like it's all linked.

Any advice would be very appreciated. I've been battling this disease for four years now with ups n downs. Gotten better but then gotten worse with different issues popping up. i'm still not giving up.

I have large veins very similar to what I saw in your photos but I do not have any pain.  Have you tried to use heat therapy for pain relief and relaxing things a bit? I'm sure you have tried pain relievers tylenol/advil.
I know that varicose veins by themselves can be painful.  There are medical treatments for it but I would be very cautious about going down that road.  Mikel7

Thanks, yes tried everything. Was even willing to go for surgery but the vascular surgeon would not operate at all.

I'm confused as to what is even going on, I never had this issue before and it's just added to my peyronies disease.

Was hoping someone had experienced this.

Hey Orriw,

Yes, I have seen 3 vascular surgeons, and 2 urologists, and I have had ultrasounds on my scotum and penis. All medical practitioners advised that there should be no issues for the implant.

Hope this helps,
