Title: Rice Sock
Post by: 1234 on March 25, 2021, 10:10:45 AM
Hi
I'm using the rice sock on my penis for heat. I've read that it can be dangerous if the temperatures are too high (around 40 I think)
Anyone knows how I can measure the heat from the rice sock?

Thanks

I used to use a rice sock but have transitioned to an older heating pad that does not get that hot. I measured the temperature with an ordinary digital thermometer.  I would wrap the pad in a small hand towel and place the thermometer underneath for a while and check it. I would get readings around 104 degrees which is comfortable and safe for me.

Okay thanks, I'm also going to wrap a hand towel around it. I just measured today and saw the rice sock was around 42. I have been doing this for months (not more than 30 minutes a day) so I hope I haven't done any damage. I'm gonna heat it less from now on.

How do you keep the rice sock away from your balls? I heard it's not healthy to have to much heat around there?

I'm sure you didn't injure anything. Gentle heat relaxes things and allows for better blood flow. The hyperthermia file ----> https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,294.msg2735.html#msg2735
is worth reading.  :)  Mike

 Thanks mikel

Postrocker, I also felt more inflammation when I started using it, maybe because my plaques where still new and inflammated. Now I don't have that anymore

Your body does adapt to it and hyperthermia has been tested on men with good results.

Well fortunately (unfortunately) for me I don't have to worry about that.  My testicles stopped working about 17 years ago. I have been on full hormone replacement since .   That was in itself a big shock and something I had to adapt to.  I always wonder if that played a factor in my peyronies?   Thankfully I was able to produce 4 healthy children before it all happened. The heat also feels good on my testicles.  :)
