Title: 3 months in, tightening cord at base, what is this and what to do?
Post by: knowledge81 on December 19, 2020, 08:50:42 AM
Hi, all. Just arrived.

I need your expert advice as I'm in early stages (3 months in) I want to do everything I can to prevent it getting worse and to recover if possible.

+ 3 months ago felt small hard lump on top and under base and cord/ridge like structure around base joining them
+ 1 month ago pain at base when erect and now indentation around base when erect
+ Saw urologist, getting ultrasound next week
+ Putting castor oil on it nightly and adding heat
+ Started taking vitamin e, coQ10, turmeric, serrapeptase
+ Reduced masturation to twice a week, now no pain when erect. I do not go near the base and do not move penis away from body so doesn't irritate wound/scar tissue

I do not much faith in doctors, but have faith in yr knowledge so please teach me. I am desperate to learn. Thank you for your time.

Ian

I think that was masturbation.

Welcome to the forum.  I hope you find the information and support you are looking for.
The most important thing you can do to start is to read this guide more than once.  Read it slowly and study it then ask questions.  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html

I want to learn more about the tight cord/band like feature around the base that is like someone has put a mini belt there and tightened it. The scar tissue on top, I am fine with because I understand it, but because it is unkown and I can't even begin to understand what it is and why it is behaving that way, it deeply concerns me. There must be other people out there with the same or similar condition? I can't even find out where to post such a question on this forum. I was really hoping for help coming here. It's distressing af.

A good specialists could answer that upon examination but if it is something new is likely just plaque (scar tissue.  Castor oil is not likely to do any good.  The message has some chance of benefit.

A urologist examined it and had a scan to confirm plaque is at base in centre of penis; the space above uretha and below the 2 cylinder spongy things. Doctor gave me gout medicine; didn't do jack. I've found that jerking off more than once a week seems to increase narrowing at base. What is castor good for if not for dissolving plaqie? I see a lot of people sing its praises. I'm taking vit b,c and e, coq10, curcumin, bromelain, papaya enzyme, acetyl l canitine, serrapeptase, nattokanese, and l arginine so I'm pretty much sure there is nothing else I can do. Doctor said medicine won't help, but shockwave therapy is available, but not cheap. I could exercise more.

Castor oil by itself will never penetrate deep enough to affect the scar tissue. Check out the DMSO+X thread: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,12587.0.html

Traction, VED, and DMSO+X along with Cialis and Pentox.
