Title: Open ended question
Post by: Inky on October 08, 2020, 02:57:18 PM
I started with a 40 degree curve almost 2 years ago.

I've been doing traction thr entire time and for the last 8 months 2 hours a day with restorex.

It is still 40 degrees.

Is my dick made out of different dick material than standard dicks?

Should I pull it harder or something? Wtf.

Should I give up at this point? And maybe just do it for maintenance of length or whatever?

Have you tried DMSO to soften the scar tissue a bit?
Have you tried VED or even more advanced girth excercise to try to expand the scar from the inside?

Yeah at that point i would try 6-9hrs traction with a suction cup device. I would also start to do weight hanging via the suction cup. Start light 2lbs then 5lbs for long time.

Make sure you are using the Restorex device properly. There are videos on the most common mistakes preventing results and how to use the device correctly.  For example, you have to ensure the device is pulling on the penis itself and not the skin.

Personally, I've had great results from Restorex coupled with all the other therapies mentioned in this community.

I've tried DMSO, but not extensively.  I am afraid of all that weight hanging stuff. Can someone else weigh in on that? I was under impression that is dangerous.

Yes, I'm using restorex properly.

Then just do 6-9 hrs with a rod extension system like the PMP of Phallosan Forte+.
The reason i bring up weight hanging, with the same lbs that a rod extension system provides, is that you can setup a pulley system in your desk and just sit there for hours.

This would be using a vacuum based cup for comfort. Dr. Levine recommends many hours of traction and 2 hours will simply not be very effective against a curve.

Also you should do VED therapy along traction. I do it about an hour after taking pentox and coq10 to promote it circulating in the penis.

If using restorex, no need for weight hanging.

You can't wear RestoreX more than 45min because it cuts off circulation to the head of the penis. One can use a vacuum device with either a rod extension or a weight system with the same tension to wear more comfortably for a lot longer to achieve results.

Also RestoreX crushes your head and starts hurting after a while.

But, restorex only needs to be worn for 30 minutes twice a day.  More is not better w restorex!

That's not what Dr. Levine says i tend to agree:

"You don't wear braces for an hour a day." Even with restorex, use it as many times a day, as long as you can stand."

Yes, that's correct for traction devices Except Restorex which has greater tension and can bend against the curve.  See studies.

Dr. Levine was referring to the RestoreX device specifically in this case. In the studies curve improvements tapered off after the first few months even with curve counter traction.

If this person wants to be safe, then i'd suggest just using the Penimaster Pro for 6-9 hrs to see if they see further improvements and use RestoreX for maintenance alongside it.

Sorry, I don't agree as many renown Peyronies Disease specialist recommend restorex.

I found it funny the restorex directions caution against wrapping a bandage around the head too tight but then you put it in a vice grips device. Never got that one. Anyway...it's been said many times before...slow and steady. You can overdo it and hurt yourself. I don't need any more issues in that area. I think some people are just going to respond better to traction than others and some may not benefit at all. Heredity, diet, severity of injury, etc. Etc. I think it's just that simple. It doesnt keep me from trying.

It's true that a Restorex cuts off circulation, I do an hour once per day because of my schedule.  I take a break for a few minutes half way through to allow the blood to circulate.

I do 1/2 hr. straight and 1/2 hr. bent once in AM and once in PM. It does cut off circulation but so what? Just use heat pad before and after.
