Title: Topical Hyaluronic acid?
Post by: Lostandsad on September 01, 2021, 12:56:56 AM
Has anyone tried using this on their plaque sites? There seems to be a lot of positive studies on intralesional Hyaluronic Acid. I'm wondering if topical HA would be useful. I'm thinking about buying some and applying it, wrapping a gauze or something overnight and seeing if it reduces plaque size at all. Thoughts?

Do not put anything on your dick unless you ok it with a multiple doctors. Otherwise you may end up like a frederich Zuckermann.

If you want to target a plaque to reduce its size have a doc inject verapamil or xiaflex

You seem very sure of yourself...if intralesional studies of HA have positive effects on peyronie's, I really don't see how topical HA will do damage. Hopefully others can give some advice.

No, just trying to be helpful. Just saying that always wise to run these things by a doctor. Personally, I think nob one should rub anything on their junk. For me, if a chemical is going into my penis I want a professional administering.

There are countless hyaluronic acid creams for skin care on the market.
It is used in cosmetics both topical and injected. Even for Peyronies Disease is used injected successfully .
In my opinion, I'd say it could not harm you. If it will help, don't know.

@ouchithurts, instead of saying nothing, why don't you explain your reasoning about why you think it could be dangerous? That would be much more useful for the forum.

Looking forward to see your reasoning.

It's unlikely to have any effect at all as it probably doesn't penetrate the skin beyond the very outermost layer. It might make your penis a bit softer to the touch but that's all.
