Post by: alec on December 03, 2020, 08:02:37 AM
i'm going to try something different now: i thought i would detox, avoid gluten and leave out alcohol. i hope that my body, my intestines will get on their feet and that this will help me somehow what do you think? Does anyone have experience with this? also in connection with peyronie?

Hello,

Without going into detail. I can assure you. Giving up alcohol and recreational drugs. Is a big plus. In the fight against Peyronie's. You will try all sorts of treatments. Some will work, but toxins will set you back.

Well done in taking this decision.

Although, I have read somewhere. Coffee is helpful for Peyronie's. In moderation I guess. 2 cups daily?

I did something similar in acute stage.. sure it's always good to be healthy which promotes healing. But if you've had Peyronie's since 2018 and chronic I wouldn't expect much from depriving yourself of life's pleasures.

Can't pass it up because it's a really great experience! Detox is a healthy initiative in any case. We all eat junk food and drink coffee or sugary drinks almost every day.

And how much sugar we consume is simply a crime against the body! I won't mention the medical detox definition (https://fherehab.com/detox/), but the usual practice of cleansing the body should be constant. At least once a month, we should all make a gift to our body and do a radical cleanse. I practice fasting once a month, but this choice is not for everyone.

Go for it!

It's over 50 days now I started eating even better!  I haven't noticed much of a difference but as I've read could take months to see any.  I'm still hopeful.  Although weight loss isn't my goal, I've lost 10lbs.  Never had a problem with weight ever, I'm being careful.

Good luck to you!

Ye, been clean first 6 months since my penis started curving, nofap too, cleanest diet ever and fasted ALOT
Also tried it to fix digestive issues.
Didnt help me with anything.
But sure, in theory lowering inflammation is a positive, seems difficult to do when going overboard and completely neglecting the mental health aspect too though.
i might not have peyronies but something else btw..

I'm not 100% certain I have peyronie's disease yet, may be something else, but I have been diagnosed with celiac disease since I was two meaning no gluten for around 30 years bar the odd mishap here and there.

No idea how it would help with peyronie's, but I will say (without bragging) I've always had very low body fat and visable six pac abs, even now I'm in my thirties and have bulked up a lot of muscle over the years, so I really would say it's a good lifestyle choice regardless of Its effect on your peyronie's.

I'v lived a toxic free life for years. It made no difference to peyronies. Am sure good nutrition, plenty of sleep and a healthy lifestyles would assist treatment and recovery but thats it.

Detox is a nice thing, but I haven't heard of it helping anyone to improve Peyronie's disease condition significantly. It helps to improve the general well-being and maybe prevent some health issues, but it's not a panacea, and such health issues as Peyronie's should be addressed directly.

I echo those on the board. I've been gluten free drug and alcohol free and eat mostly organic for the past 22 years. My body is mostly alkaline all the time. I've had a bend in my dick for as long as I can remember. Never knew about this disease until I found the indents. Thinking about what to add or subtract from your diet or what vitamins to take can make you crazy. Saying that I'm gonna try adding vitamin E. Cant hurt I suppose. However I don't think breaking up the scar tissue and plaque can be done orally. I did try that shockwave therapy. It made it worse. Just a word to the wise.
