Title: Do I have Peyronie's Disease?
Post by: ccsaf1 on August 28, 2019, 09:51:17 AM
Hello everyone,

I apologize in advance if this isn't the right forum to ask my question, and for the lengthy post. I have nowhere else to turn to, and I've already seen a urologist twice and my next appointment is in a month so I'd like some pointers on what to address with her and how to get this resolved ASAP.

For background info, I'm a 24 year old male, have had multiple female sexual partners, but the sex was never great (on my end and in terms of my performance). My penis has a very blatant downward curve which begins a little before the middle, and I've had it for as long as I can remember. I don't really recall having some major physical trauma around my pelvic area when I was young. My penis is 7in long and uncircumcised, and when receiving oral sex, when the skin moves back the head is VERY sensitive and I rarely feel pleasure from receiving BJs, mostly pain. This all leads to me having trouble with maintaining erections and makes sex very unpleasant in general, and completely diminishes my confidence and will to have sex with my GF.

Besides the downward curvature, my doctor said I have hypospadia, and my doctor suggested that the skin between the two urethral holes I have may be causing some sort of strain on the entire penis and causing it to go downwards. I also read that hypospadia can indeed cause downward curvature. I essentially have two holes where urine comes out of, one on top of the head of the penis and one slightly lower. Last visit she suggested a small surgical procedure which makes the two holes into one may help relieve the strain and help with the curve.

Apart from these two abnormalities, I don't have any plaque or anything that I see people discuss here, and I can't tell if I have scar tissue built up on the bottom of my penis. I can get fully erect and the only issue during sex is the curve So in your opinion, do I have Peyronies Disease or is it the hypospadia (two urethral holes very close together on my penis) which is causing my downward curvature?

Cheers

I am not an urologist, but taking in consideration the two urethral holes, the doctor may be right.

Or maybe you have congenital curvature, not Peyronies at all as you stated that the curvature is there from the time you remember.

If the surgery is an insignificant one and the doctor said it may help, I was going on it.
It is not and advise, I am just saying what I was doing :)

I am moving your topic to:

Will get more attention there

I wonder if my problem is congenital.

I'd ask her if any risks involved in the surgery...does sound pretty straightforward w much to gain (loss of pain and maybe decrease in curve).  It never hurts to get a second opinion as well.
