Title: Follow Up Tomorrow
Post by: peyroniessucks77 on March 05, 2015, 08:51:39 PM
So, I'm seeing my urologist for a follow up tomorrow afternoon. I had plication surgery last July for a 45 degree bend and erectile pain. All was well for a couple months then the bend and pain came back. I also now have a bulge on the left side and indentation on the right side. I saw my urologist a couple months ago and he told me to just continue Cialis and he would see if that did anything. Said if not we would explore xiaflex and ved. I've read that xiaflex is not good if you have a venous leak. Is that true? I look forward to any feedback. Thank you.

Xiaflex wouldn't make it worse but I don't think it would do anything to make it better. It doesn't do anything for venous leakage.

I saw my doctor last Friday and he said that xiaflex would work in my case because I don't have venous leakage bad enough that I'm not able to get an erection. but we are putting xiaflex on hold as he is setting me up for an ultrasound in two weeks because he said it now appears that the plaque is sitting right against the urethra and if that's the case xiaflex is not recommended and we would have to resort to some other type of treatment. So I'm back to waiting again to find out what's going to happen.
