Title: Wave Therapy?
Post by: hopefulfarmer on June 03, 2018, 09:23:55 AM
I am just over 2 years since acute peyronies started.  The condition stabilized about 8-10 months ago.  I had a serious life event in Feb that wrecked me emotionally.  The peyronies acute stage restarted, developing rapidly in my emotionally distressed condition.  My erections are now disfigured to the point that sex is becoming difficult to impossible.  I am married to an understanding wife.  We have been married for 32 years, together for 35 years.  Media ads are flooding the market now for Shock Wave Therapy or Pulse Wave Therapy for ED and Peyronies.  I called the local men's clinic and felt like it was a real hustle, felt like a replacement window sales experience.  I did not go past the first phone call.  Has anyone tried this approach?  If so, did you experience any improvement or benefit from the therapy?  I would appreciate any input that you have to offer.

Trust your gut, it's a rip-off.  Avoid these men's clinic scams.  Go to a real peyronies specialist ASAP.  They will likely recommend Xiaflex.

Thanks for sharing.
Can you share which VED you're using? Im a bit scared after seeing Neo's video on VED's, although seems super promising. Would you be kind enough to update us/me on shockwave? Are you doing Gainswave?
Ive heard mixed reviews on Xiaflex. What was your experience?

VED is well regarded and safe IF one does not overpump...many can't resist watching their erection growing in its full glory....  the SOMA Correct 3 cylinder seems to be the most preferred.

Jasper if ur question was to me then I used the peni master pro......for traction...........the Osborne Erectaide single cylinder .....for vacuum...... and the manual stretching multiple times per day. I was def aggressive but I got wonderful results. After all that work for 9 months and after all the Xiaflex injections I went from a 75% curve down to 15% which my doc says is almost normal....He was impressed........Lots of work though.
Now finished w the Shock wave for ED. some results but not monumental. They told me full effect won't kick in for 2 months.....Not sure which device they have but its the better one.
My Doc doesn't skimp on equipment. Hope that helps.

Can someone describe the shock wave treatment? I see that you can buy an Chinese machine maybe for about the cost of the treatments.

It looks like the machine has different size tips to focus the shock waves narrow or wide. This treatment is used for Kidney stones also, it makes perfect sense to me that this could break up calcified deposits.

So, somebody, how do they do it? What size tip, for how long? In one spot or always moving? How often, twice a week for twenty minutes? please advise
