Title: Where can I get an interventional radiology surgery for venous leak
Post by: pivasik on July 19, 2020, 12:09:11 PM
Hi, some time ago Skunkworks mentioned an interventional radiology surgery for venous leak. I've seen studies about it but haven't found any doctors who perform it. Does anyone know who performs this surgery and how can I contact him? Please I am 18 years old, Cialis doesn't work well anymore, I don't want to end myself.

Have you tried viagra, Cock rings, or injections?  Have you had all your hormone levels checked?  If all else fails you can always go bionic w an implant.

Did you do a Doppler?

I have to say I would never advise someone that an implant is only a consideration if a VED or injections fail.

If I needed a VED to have sex and I knew what I know I would be calling a top implant surgeon within the next 24 hours.  The same is likely true of injections since they carry significant risks.

Yes, and my uro basically told me that after pills and injections fail implants are my last hope. He also performs penile prosthesis surgeries so...

Once again, I saw Skunkworks mention an interventional radiology surgery with good long term results. There's also Shockwave treatment and stem cell therapy which are, unfortunately, unavailable in my country. If anyone knows where in EU I can get an alternative treatment, such as those mentioned above, please write them here or send me a PM.

Hi Hawk, I'm curious why you would choose an implant before injections.  As far as VED, why not give it a try?  If it isn't helpful or isn't just for them then they could go for an implant.  Why not try it first?  I know the possible risk of peyronies  w injections, but if one new the possible risk and it happened they could then move on to an implant.  Are there any significant irreversible risks?  Even though the injections gave me Peyronie's, I'm glad I tried it as even though it was inconvenient it was closer to my normal state than the implant is.   Of course someone could also try the injections and even w no side effects may still find it to cumbersome and inconvenient and then move on to an implant.  Now I think I'd say if all else fails, or simply isn't right for them, there's always an implant.  Just curious...Thxs! Tony

I don't want to sidetrack this topic but I used injection 2 to 3 times weekly for 8 months.  I used a VED for years.  Neither gave me spontaneous sex.  Ten percent of my sex happens when we snuggle up against each other when one or both of us are asleep, next thing we are awake having great sex.  Another twenty percent of the time we just embrace during the day and boom.  Those opportunities are impossible with injections.  You have to run to refrig, fill a syringe  go to the bathroom, inject, and have sex 20 minutes later.  Once we got company that stayed an hour While I had an erection and that was it, no ability to finish what we started for at least 24 hours. When you travel you have haul refrigeration with you in the car, Worse if you fly.  Then there is the potential for priapism which is no laughing matter at midnight potentially in a strange town.  First you face an awkward ER encounter then a potential damaging procedure on your penis by an on-call urologist.  Finally if you get Peyronies Disease, sure you can get an implant but it very possibly will be a smaller implant than if you did not have Peyronies Disease.

I much prefer my implant even if I had a guarantee of erections with injections, and a guarantee it would not cause Peyronies Disease. AND, You don't get those guarantees.

All good considerations and I understand if Pde5i's fail (and no other treatable conditions such as low T) docs can move on to implants.

Personally, I was good w not always being able to get an erection for spontaneous intimacy and sex and scheduling it when I waned it (via injections).  Only real downside to implants for me is the hardware of the pump dominating my scrotum (at least the titan pump is smaller).
