Title: Anyone had an implant done by Dr Ralph? (UK)
Post by: sonnyjim on February 07, 2019, 01:39:57 PM
What is everyones opinions on Dr Ralph in London (UK)?

I am considering choosing him to do my surgery as he is apparently one of the highest volume implanters in the UK.

any advice would be nice.

Thanks

I suggest you go to "Search" and just enter the word "Ralph" and check "View results as messages".

Apparently scar tissue is not removed when implants are done...

Will they remove it in certain cases? Like if the scar tissue is causing lack of sensations and the inability to ejaculate?

Did you do what hawk said above?

Yeah but I didnt find anything about sensation being restored or ejaculation.

Also only found one post about someone having an implant done by Dr Ralph which is strange as he is supposedly the highest volume implanter in the UK.

Whoever does mine will probably need to remove some of the scar tissue as well for me to see any benefits. I just wondered if they do this.

In short, an implant does nothing for ejaculation, nor it improves sensitivity because that mostly comes from blood flow. About removing scar tissue, not sure

2 There are enough patients of doctor Ralph in FT and it is not difficult to find them, why do not you look for them?

Funny that you know what a high volume surgeon is (supposedly) but then, you can't do a simple search on the major doctors websites for what they do or don't, and for what exactly does the penile implant procedure involves.

And then you complain, when I say you only want attention and are unwilling to act for real

There is nothing on the website about what he does, it is all just about implants.

I wasn't going to respond to your post but I just wondered what you have against me? Because it is actually getting ridiculous when I'm trying to find information or somebody who can help me and you waste your time criticising everything I write.

This is a forum, forums are for asking questions and getting answers. What am I here for if I'm not doing that? Is there an actual point in having these forums if people can simply "google it" or look somewhere else?

I was asking a question to people who have had implants done and maybe in a similar situation to me... This is stupid.

I am willing to act, I'm having it done. I just dont want to be sitting here in a couple of years time wondering if it could of been different, the outcome could of been better or if I missed anything.

I'm sure you will be the same when you are near to having yours done.

By now you must know what an implant surgery is and what it is not.  Most doctors try not to do multiple procedures with an implant because of the increased risk of infection.  You must know you cannot cut out scar tissue without doing a graft at each location or you will be destroyed.  Scar tissue is not on the tunica.  It replaces the tunica.  how would any doctor know exactly what nerve(s) were being blocked?  How would they then be able to remove the scar tissue and leave the nerve intact?

Few men if any men lose sensation from Peyronies Disease scar tissue.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe they can do grafting with the implant seeing as I have lost most of my sensation.

And just for the record I don't think I have typical peyronies because I have no bend, just a few parts of my penis are covered in lumps. The main one is like a cord that goes around the middle of my shaft but weirdly I have no bend just narrowing of my entire penis and little blood flow to the glans.

Since this happened I feel the scar tissue there even when I am not touching it. It's like it's in the middle of my penis like a squeezing feeling.

"Most of men do not lose sensation due Peyronies Disease"

Many, instead, lose sensation from surgery. At least temporary.

Sonnyjim are you sure you lost sensation? I used to feel neither cold and hot on my glans due to severe neurvasxular bundle injury. Despite I'm coping with neuropathy, sensation got back.

My feeling is many people are just dissociated psychologically as when I'm half awake, almost in a sleeping mode, my sensation is far better, I feel a lot more pleasure..why? 'Cause I'm not in control. On the other hand, daily time, super aware of my curvature which I hate, ED problems and so on..well, try to guess..feel almost nothing.

I'll tell you more, my ex girlfriend last summer woke me up in the middle of the night and gave me a blowjob. I was confused and sleepy. What happened? Never felt so much in my life, I swear. I felt I was about to explode.

That being said, I'm not underestimating your problems. Rest assured of it. If you ever read about my story, you know what I got through and all the issues I'm living with. Nerve damage as well.

Focus on ED and bumps.

Yeah, I'm sure...

I don't have typical peyronies as I don't have a bend or curve, just lack of blood flow to glans. I have white spots there where there isn't normal blood flow.

Just wondering if you have had a doctor do tests on you and tell you for sure positively you have peyronies. Me, I am skeptical of docs. I saw 2 who did nothing but look at me me and say yep you have peyronies. My wife codes medical charts and my sons gf is going to be a pa. I talked to them and they said basically get your ass to a doc who will do whatever tests needed to make sure it is peyronies. Evidently it can be tumors, cancer, or other issues. I do not know your history so would not want to terrify you but if your symptoms are not common, might be something else. Some lumps actually mimic peyronies and are cancerous tumors. My 3rd doc actually told me I did not have any issues but peyronies. You probably have been properly diagnosed but if not you need to.

It is a jelquing injury, which produces erectile dysfunction

I'm not sure about OP having done any jelqing, but the symptoms sure sound like mine. I also lost sensation and have these weird white (sometimes blue or red) spots as well and like you the scarring mainly formed around the glans. My problems started after months of jelqing and gradually worsened way after I quit doing it. I also had sharp pains, but the pain (and some sensation) is mostly gone now. Like I said, maybe you never jelqed, but if so it would explain why we have some of the same symptoms.

He already said that he made jelqs time ago, and I am sure that this is the cause of his dysfunction like that of many others who do not believe that this is happening to them because they have made jelqs. but that's it, hard to admit but that's
