Title: Damaged nerves
Post by: Voltage on June 30, 2014, 10:07:59 AM
Hey everyone,

Ever since I got peyronies, I've had noticeably less sensitivity in both my shaft and head.
It's been about 4 months now and it hasn't gotten any better, nor worse.
If I were to estimate, I'd say I only feel 30% of what I used to. I never feel heat in my penis anymore neither. Although I will feel it on my hand if I grasp it.

Has anyone else been experiencing these symptoms, and can we reverse this affect with oral/cream supplements?

What about your treatment?
You have stated in the past that you are taking Pentox, low dose Cialis and using traction.

Hey there James.

Since I've first started, I've managed to straighten my penis by roughly 7 degrees as well as gaining .5" in length. It's been a long process thus far, but any gain is encouraging.

Also a warning to others, I've been using the andro peyronie and the ring around my base has given me rashes on my scrotum periodically which I believe has been the cause of its shrinkage. I now wear three band aids to cover the skin.

Yes, I definitely have this symptom since 1 year. It's always when the needle like pain / discomfort and hard flaccid is there as well. When the pain is down the feeling comes back. So in my case at least it is from inflammation. I have tried numerous things. So far Coq10 and lots of healthy food has worked best for me.

So this kind of leaves me confused. Is numb penis a not so average problem for people with peyronies? I haven't found much in the way of numb penis recovery. I'll keep searching over the web in the mean time.

I have noticed that when I masturbate or have sex the physical pleasure I get is very low compared to what it used to be.  In my case I have a lot of pain from sex itself, pain from erection, and have to be very gentle and can't stimulate myself the way I used to.  These are all possible reasons for my reduction in pleasure.  In addition there are always psychological factors and the possibility of nerve damage.  I have heard of other people having problems with physical pleasure too but I'm not sure how common it is.  I don't have any "numbness", just a lack of pleasurable feelings.  Most of the time when I masturbate it hardly feels like anything until I am close to orgasm, at which point it builds up and I feel a decent amount of pleasure for a few seconds.  Once I start to orgasm, however, the pleasure seems to disappear immediately.  The orgasm itself used to be the strongest part, where each spurt would feel really good.  Now it feels like nothing.  It's really pretty depressing to be honest.  I would like to hope things will improve but I really have no idea if it will or not.

I'm in the same camp as you thisismyusername. I've read that depending on where your plaque is, it's possible it compresses the nerves and you just won't feel them until it's gone. I'm hoping that's both our cases. Lately, as my penis has gotten straighter, I've been receiving a tingling sensation back in my erection whenever I cum. It's less than satisfactory and it even feels kind of uncomfortable, but is it possible that this means my nerves are starting to come back?
