Quote from: dave1211 on Yesterday at 01:56:36 PMNo definitely not congenital. This happened somewhere in my teens. I remember I had done a rough masturbation session and started experience a lot of pain down there. I suspect that's when my issues started occurring though I can't remember when exactly. But I'm pretty damn sure this is due to my prone masturbation.

So you are sure it was 100% straight before? Did a Peyronies Specialist Urologist give you a physical examination and officially diagnose you?

Quote from: AnaDuck on January 24, 2026, 06:05:33 PMThank you! It's just the acute phase getting to me, the good and bad days due to inflammation. Overall, the traction (especially counter bending) has been helping a lot!

I can certainly relate to your concerns. I'm still in the acute stage and even a straight stretch that goes on for too long, or with too much tension can cause a lot of lingering pain / inflammation afterwards.

I know many people say that the acute stage is the best time to use RestoreX but sometimes...I'm not so sure.

However many others on here have had similar.

yeah...not sure if I believe that. He must have seen at least some examples of such scars from using Restorex. I guess it's just not good marketing to admit it.

Just had an appt last week with Dr. Yafi. I got prescribed 5mg daily cialis for mild ED (lack of morning erections/spontaneous erections/weaker erections than usual). My only fear is a prolonged erection. I was reassured that it is safe but I am still afraid. Any experience taking cialis for peyronies even if your erection quality is fair? Is it safe? Dangers of priapism etc?

Thanks.

Hello Dave,

Welcome on the forum. Sorry to hear your problem.

I agree with what is said here on the topic.
- You need to do a full examination of your body. The problem can be Peyronies Disease alone. Or Peyronies Disease + another problem(s). And so on.
- What is your general health condition ? Weight ? Sport ? Food ? Stress ? Other medicines you take ?
- Of what I could read, your penis was straight when you were an adolescent and now curved ? How much curved ? If there are dents, hourglass, etc. it can avoid a good bloodflow.
- The psychological aspect of this disease takes a HUGE part. Everyone underestimates this. I'm in Peyronies Disease since 18 months and the psych aspect has taken more than 50% of the problem. I'm seeing a psychologist since december 2024 and it helped me a lot ! I encourage you to do this.
- Traction can help for correcting curvature. It helped me with 40° !!! (check out my pics on my journal topic under traction topic).
- VED can help also but be careful not to overpump.
- If nothing helps, before undergoing surgery, you could take the paths of alternative therapies ? For example the WHM (Wim Hof Method) which is basically breathing and cold exposure has helped me these last year in other life aspects. I'm sceptical about the guy himself (Wim Hof, I red his book), but I know the therapy cures diseases (I red many many testemonies of people curing their disease (many different ones)). There are also other alternative therapies.
- Last option, after chemical options, mecanical options and alternative therapies, is the surgery option.

Best of luck and keep us updated. DM me if I can help.

I'm curious if anyone has gone down the ETG (ExtraTunical Grafting) route and can share their experience. When searching the forum, it seems like a few have considered it but not many have tried. I have a few indentations but one main area on the right side mid-shaft. No symptoms of ED. Things seemed to stabilize after a year or so but have definitely gotten worse recently (6 years in)... not sure if it's reactivation of the disease or things just calcifying. Either way, what was once something I learned to accept is now a bit more than I'm comfortable leaving alone as is.

Any and all feedback is helpful and appreciated, but I'm primarily curious if anyone can share longer term outcomes. This is a relatively newer procedure so I know there probably isn't much that can be shared.

I'm also curious if there are top rated surgeons for this particular procedure - I believe I have seen Dr Christine and Lue mentioned on the forum, and have seen a video from Dr Ziegelmann with Mayo Clinic. ChatGPT seems to be under the impression this has been performed no more than 100 times, certainly not encouraging but this does seem to make the most sense with where I am at.

Thank you in advance for any feedback!!

Penile Implants / Re: Sex and masturbating after...
Last post by shaddyK - Yesterday at 11:38:23 AM
From my experience, sex and masturbating after getting the implant were mostly fine once the initial soreness went away. I waited a couple of days until the arm felt normal again, and after that there was no real issue—just some light tenderness at first. Hormone-wise, I did notice my libido changed a bit in the first month, but it settled down.

My advice is to listen to your body and don't rush it if your arm still hurts or feels bruised. Everyone reacts differently, so a short adjustment period is normal.

For some people, distractions like mobile porn games can help take the focus off anxiety around libido changes. It's just another way people explore arousal while their body adjusts.

Quote from: dave1211 on February 08, 2026, 11:39:41 PMThank you for your reply. Yes I know they are separate issues but regarding my phimosis that's the first thing most of the docs noticed when they examined me. Anyway I'm really glad I did it though.

Well I have a pretty significant curvature actually that's why I suspect I have peyronies. This is probably to over 20 years of very rough prone masturbation. I used to even masturbate on hard floors as a kid (dont ask my why i did it). In fact I used to have very strong erections as a teenage and I totally damaged it due to the proning.

Yes, I have gotten over the fear now of seeing a doctor. I'm just frustrated why my doctor didn't even bother to do a Doppler ultrasound for my issue and instead did it on my scrotum.

It sounds to me that your main issue is ED and your curvature is just congenital, nothing to do with peyronies.
