I'm just about to start daily tadalafil (5mgs) and see that there are some concerns about excessive drinking while on this medication. "Excessive drinking" is pretty subjective, so I am curious if anyone has had any notable experiences mixing alcohol with tadalafil?
FWIW: If I'm out at dinner I'll have, maybe, three drinks. But if I'm out drinking with friends it might be more in the neighborhood of five or six drinks over the course of an evening.

I have no personal experience since I am a non-drinker. The problem, however, is that both alcohol and tadalafil are vasodilators and having more than one or two glasses of wine can lead to a drop in blood pressure. That can mean dizziness, fainting, headache, etc. It can also lead to a rapid heart rate which can aggravate heart issues.
Hey man! i am on daily cialis 5mg too. I'm 5'7, 170lbs and i have no problem drinking 2/3 beers with the medication on. Sometimes a whisky too. I'd say just drink one at a time, have a good meal with it and see how it goes. Pace yourself so you don't get hammered quick. lol

Doubtful drinking w 5 mg and drinking is a problem, check epocrates for details.
If you consume alcohol so it decreases the blood supply which remains in your penis. So it makes you harder to get an erection on time. Avoid alcohol while taking viagra otherwise you might suffer from some side-effects.
I don't know about Cialis, but 50 mg Viagra with 2/3 beers helping with my erection.
More than 2/3 beers, killing my erection.

Tadalafil (https://www.pillsfind.com/tadalafil-generic) can lower blood pressure, and combining it with alcohol may further increase this effect. You may be more likely to experience symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, headache, and heart palpitations
Avoid!!!! i am too using tadalafil 5mg very occasionally, but once just a few weeks ago i unfortunately took 2 5mg pills in the same day out of mistake (i forgot i had already taken one) and then during the evening i drank a couple of beers and a couple of drinks. At night i had an HORRIBLE headache, and my heartbeat went out of the roof! i couldn't stop it. it lasted more than 24 hours. Beware!
It's tolerated quite well by most men, like all treatments each person needs to try it especially since in studies it's helpful and well tolerated by most.
All PDE5 inhibitors by nature lower blood pressure because they expand arteries that carry blood. The same volume of blood in expanded arteries results in lower blood pressure.

Irishpeyroniecure: there were already several complaints about your attitude and post content on the board. Refrain from similar conduct in the future to avoid escalating this.
Cialis was until recently my #1 ED treatment and in my case, a little bit of alcohol actually improved my performance.
Too much alcohol is, however, an erection killer and may aggravate side effects.
I tolerated over 3 beers and some whiskey ok. Recently not so much so, had some bad insomnia and ED after having 3 beers which i really sipped all night and had a lot of food. I would really avoid it.

Not to promote excessive drinking, but I tend to agree. I've drunk plenty (too much in the past) and never had any problem mixing Viagra with it. Maybe my Irish heritage or something .
Don't mix the two. These don't go well together. No matter what any of our experiences are with mixing them, you risk serious side effects and it's not worth it.
What po? Where did you hear this. Check the medication contraindications, if avoiding alcohol isn't mentioned it shouldn't be a problem.
I can tell you from my college days of heavier drinking 1-2 days week, alcohol can worsen peyronies, it leads to fibrosis. You should avoid alcohol as much as possible, especially while on pentox because that can aggravate your stomach and so can alcohol. I've found caffeine helps peyrones while I'm not on pentox. A cup of coffee or two a day can help keep inflammation down, it's proven in studies, look it up.
But I must stress as someone who has had peyronies for 20 years and am now 36 years old, avoid alcohol as much as possible. A few drinks is okay here and there, but overall it will make it worse if you drink to much.

I take 50mg of cialis (huge dose) and drank 10 beers and didn't notice anything. And I have a heart condition. Oops didn't know you couldn't mix
Mixing daily Cialis and alcohol will lower your blood pressure and make you feel faint after more than a few. Weeks ago I drank 2 large gins and felt very light headed. I took my blood pressure and it was indeed lower than normal, my diastolic which is normally around 80 (normal range) was below 60. Nothing too serious but just something to be aware of.

Once i did drink 4cl jaeger and my penis filled with blood without my consent. It was a half erected state and i was unable to bring it down. 30-40min later it subsided.

Seems to be pretty clear.
If your taking Cialis stay of the booze !! If you can't your wasting your time taking Cialis and endangering your heart.
Believe me you do not want to go to E.R. and have to undergo D.C. Cardioversion.
That's if you even eventually get seen by a doctor.
