OMG ... reading all these possible causes: diabetes, statins, trauma, LOTS of sex ... lol. Have them all. :-\
Now 70, onset was at about age 60. 60 to 70 degree curve up. Started Masturbating at age 13 ... couldn't get enough ... many times a day until starting sex with future wife at age 18 ... still masturbated a lot ... haha. Married at age 20. Very active for first few years, then settled into a 10 times a week pattern ... plus a few jerk offs during week. Tempo of intercourse and masturbation increased with her first affair ... turned me on soooo much. ;D Settled back into routine until her 2nd affair .. haha. Same with my first affair, but found I was more turned on by hers .. so encouraged that and didn't have anymore myself. Memories of walking in on her naked and having sex wth my buddy always got me hard. Lasted 26 years. Remarried at age 48, same frequency (10 times a week) until Peyronies onset ... damn. Now sex a couple of times a week and masturbating about the same.
After reading much on Peyronies and these forum posts, I am convinced that my cause is simply cumulative damage over the years .... lots of doggie with her Kageling hard and using a vibrator on her clit while I am inside. Anyone else believe theirs is from "overuse" :P ?

LOTS of sex ...I think is good, not bad ;D
Masturbation & micro-trauma, can be.
In any case, this is my opinion
By the way, you are doing some treatment, or you are waiting for miracles? Miracles will not be for sure!

James,
Thanks for the encouraging words. Yes, likely micro damage. I am currently discussing injections (Xiaflex) with current wife and my Urologist. Got to be hard to be good!! Btw, discussing with wife has lead to more sex. Yeah!!

You may want to try first VED, Pentox, low dose Cialis

I had my prostate removed in 2009. 1.5 yrs later I developed Peronies. I now know that the odds are against me after a prostatectomy. I think the prostatectomy procedure can cause the onset of Peronies. I've heard that The Urethra is shortened, and the now shortened ends are tied together afterwards, and this may cause the problem. Anyone heard of this...?
