Title: Been lurking for about a year, finally decided to make an account (25)
Post by: Blue25 on June 20, 2019, 06:54:50 PM
Hi everyone, I have been dealing with what seems like a very strange case of peyronies but also very similar to what everyone else has described here, in terms of medical advice. This al started about 2 years ago for me when I was 23, I hadn't been in a relationship for 5 years and finally found an amazing girl who I quickly fell in love with.

Well almost immediately I started having erection issues, I think mainly from sexual anxiety since I had been out of the game for so long. I then started to get a bend at the base of my penis to where I was pointing right and to the floor. Went to doctor and he diagnosed me with peyronies without even examining me. He said wait until summer of that year and check back in with him to then.

Finally saw a urologist who seemed like he was quite rough with me. He said that if I had a bend "it would look like this" and bent my penis to the left at a 90 degree angle. He said I don't have peyronies but he says it's the only thing it could be if it was anything... and then I paid 200 dollars and left.

About a few months later I started getting a bend to the left where he demonstrated during the appointment.  My girlfriend has been so supportive but it has caused a lot of tension between us at times. We are both young and I don't want to be wasting her youth being with someone who can't do what other men my age can do no problem. I went to another urologist half a year ago about and he told me it might be congenial, and he felt no scar tissue...

here's what I feel from just observing myself: a small bump half the size of a pea on the bottom left side of penis, no pain. When hard I have two hard bb like bumps on the top left of my penis towards the tip, I can move them around and I can't feel them when I'm flaccid. I have occasional flaccid hourglass but never when I'm hard. After ejaculating and my erection goes down there is some hourglassing and I feel very tight and uncomfortable. The bend to the left does not show when completely hard but there is a slight torsion to the left, the bend at the base is still present.

Went to a pelvic floor specialist and she said everything I was experiencing sounded like a dysfunctional pelvic floor. This is my only option it seems like, I've been bounced around by so many doctors and retold my story so many times to people who tell me I'm fine after I tell them how miserable I am and that my manhood has been stripped from me. It's easier just to feel numb at this point, so writing this is very difficult for me. It's probably scattered and lengthy and not formatted well, but I will be willing to clarify any important details I left out. Doesn't seem like there's many success stories on here which makes me nervous. Anyone try pelvic floor therapy for flaccid hourglass?

Hope someone can help make some sense of this.

What are your symptoms? What made you look into pelvic floor therapy?

My wife is a therapist, and got some therapy for her shoulder.  Was talking to the PT and my surgery came up.  She suggested pelvic floor therapy to help the healing process

Okay I'm going to make an appointment with a PT just to see if the hourglass is a pelvic floor issue. I don't have hourglass when erect just flaccid occasionally. What was your situation before you decided to go into surgery? Any hourglassing? Did it show when hard?

I had calcified plaque and a 50 degree curve to the left as well as dent on the left side

Did the dent show while flaccid as well? Or just erect? I can't see dent or hourglass when I am erect. Only the torsion and bend at the base. Don't know how extreme the angle is since it's both to the right and downwards.
