I am going to post a few things about my visit with Dr. Eid. Here is one.
He did a color double doppler with alprostadil injection.
I have what appears to be 3 plaques dorsally (although might be one contiguous one). Waiting on his report. And one in the interior somewhere near my urethra (that would explain the feeling like I have to piss).
I told him that another uro had told me that when he did a b+w doppler on me that my plaques were "moderately calcified." Dr. Eid said there is no way to tell if a plaque is calcified or not without doing an x-ray. He said they show up white.
So for anyone on here that has been told their plaques are calcified, how do you know? Did you have an x-ray done?
