Title: PRP & Shockwave
Post by: Intrepid1 on December 15, 2017, 10:58:41 AM
Started my treatment yesterday with Dr. Bano and staff.  Highly accredited, very professional and good sense of humor, which helps.  It took 2 1/2 hours, mostly numbing, and had 2 pre-treatment visits with mostly learning.  First was the shock wave, about 20 minutes, strong pulsing and mildly painful at times, but operator turned down strength to where it was not very painful.  Then RPR shot, not painful at all.  Now I go back for a series of shock wave and 1 more PRP shot.  Part of the treatment is to use vacuum device twice a day, take CIalis twice a day, and I got testosterone pellets also yesterday.  I was at the low end of normal for my age.

As an added benefit, I have bradycardia.  Did my Kardia app this morning, heart rate up about 10 beats and the EKG was perfect.  Overall I am very hopeful and have a PMA.  I am going to try to follow up post every 2 weeks.

It was both.  Erection easy to solve with testosterone pellets and viagra.  Peyronies Disease way on the serious side.  Seriously impaired sex.  The treatment worked.  Not perfect, but a lot better and  sex is now a joy instead of anxiety ridden challenge and failure.  Here is my treatment:  PRP shots followed immediately with one Gainswaive treatment - feels like a jackhammer, 5 more Gainswaive and only 2 to go at this point.  They are several days to a week apart.    Finally another PRP shot at the end.  Gainswaive  "tune ups" if I need them at a discounted price.  And every day vacuum at least 6 times twice per day.  Small dose Cialis pills 1 morning and 1 night - improves blood flow generally.  I don't expect 100% cure but I don't need that for a good life either.  It's costly, I will spend nearly $6,000 for this treatment.  For me, it's worth it.

Shockwave March 2018  My pain made terribly worse about 4th shockwave treatment. Supposedly Shockwave would address old scaring at upper left side of penis as well as allow me to quit Tri-Mix. Tri-Mix worked great.
Only tried this as Tri-Mix was no longer available in my area. Foolishly I beleived Dr. that shockwave would remove painfull spot I had been living with for 23 years. Really it was something I was used to so crazy to have taken a chance with Shockwave. Pain from 7 years previous to this had improved after 3 months of POTABA.
The pain is so bad I must wear silk briefs and an additional pair of under wear to walk for excercise to make my life bearable.
As I assume many of you know the inflamation makes me horny all of the time and more than a little preoccupied.
Personally Ciallis is likely cause of my Centralserous retinal vision distortions so I would not consider any oral Erectile Dysfunction Solutions.
Even "careful" Vacuum pumping, which was part of the Shockwave regimen I did, seems crazy now with my current painful penile injury.
Forget sex..Very tough on my relationship with my wife.  POTABA no longer available........now what?
