Title: Positive Intercourse Story
Post by: leebee on June 19, 2017, 08:13:01 AM
Dear all,

I recently started an intimate relationship. It's the first sexual relationship since my Peyronies got significantly worse. I'm not sure of my exact curvature, but I would put it at 60-70 degs dorsal. I was concerned I may not be able to have sex or that I would only be able to have some minimal penetration and this would be disappointing or whatever..you know. I'm not so hung up on penetrative sex that I think it the be all and end all but it can great for both man and woman as one facet of intimacy. My partner became familiar with my penis and decided it was "quirky", which I was more than happy with as an adjective. I've read at least one woman on this forum talk about how a man with a curved penis was in fact a pleasant change from the (mostly) straight penises out there. It was great to have positive and reassuring comments. She also said, and I think this is more common with women than men think, that penetrative sex was not that important to her. The sex was good, I believe she actually called it a "super penis". I kept it brief so as not to create further issues and despite some discomfort sensations the next day, all was good. We've since repeated for a slightly longer time with no adverse effects. I asked my partner not to clench too much as this was straightening the curve. Position was missionary with hips rotated upwards. This seemed to work best.

She challenged me in a way I didn't expect - most likely as I am task/goal orientated man. She asked why I was going to such great lengths (no pun intended) to try to straighten my penis (traction/VED/supplements). I suddenly realized I didn't have a good answer, I'd just gone straight to trying to fix it. The best I can come up with is a straighter penis is less likely to be damaged. Regain a small amount of length? Sure, but not important to her I think. I've also seen the following mentioned in the forum, but I will repeat. The amount of psychological stress we put ourselves through with these regimens and for what if we can have sex and our partners don't care or even find our curved penises interestingly different to the norm. Again, I know some of you can't have sex at all and these regimens are therefore important to you for this reason...but for those of us that can maybe weigh up the cost to benefit and not blindly go to finding a solution as I did..something to think about...

I know many of you have wives and long term relationships and enjoy regular sex with Peyronies. I feel for those of you who can't as your condition is so bad or have associated ED. But the point of this post is to give assurance and hope to those of you that think you can't have a good sex life with Peyronies. I've been so saddened to read the desperation of young and old alike here and even talk of suicide. You can have healthy sex life with Peyronies and there are good women (and men if you are homosexual) out there that can be hugely supportive and honestly don't care that much about penetrative sex. And even with a pretty bad curvature you can manage it, if careful. Have faith that you can find that person...the world is chock full of good people and if you open your heart you'll find them. If you don't find that person first time, move on, you will.

Yes, it's nice to read a positive story and to be reminded that lots of women don't care much about the shape and size of a guy's penis. As she says, they might even like it a bit "quirky." Thanks, Leebee.
