Hi folks,
The situation is the following: diagnosed Peyronies Disease 8 months ago; pain, hourglass and shortening developping ever since. 4 weeks ago, (probably) new injury, left bend developping at the speed of light (from 0 to 20-30° in one month!) and worsening of all symptoms (especially a terrible shooting pain when erect). I'm doing traction (Andropeyronie, which I think is what I re-injured myself with), heat, VED (3 cylinders protocol), and am on pentox, arginine, cialis, ALCAR, pycnogenol, vit K12 and gotu kola. I also oint my penis 2 times a day with olive oil + topical vit E + emu oil, which helps alleviate flaccid pain.
So, the problem is: most of my terrible "new" pain is located in a circular area juste beneath the glans, ie at the very place where I tighten my Andropeyronie strap and necklace. I can actually feel the pain here when I put the Andropeyronie and tighten it. Manual stretching seems to hurt a lot as well. Plus, after 6 months I can assert that the Andropeyronie is definitly not convenient AT ALL (very tricky to use, impossible to wear under regular clothes, etc). Yet, I can't reasonably give up on traction as I am currently losing length and developping a curvature.
So, the question is: do you think I should throw away my Andropenis, and which traction(s) device(s) should I buy that would be 1) efficient, 2) convenient, 3) with a succion and not necklace system ? I think I understood that ESL40 and PMP have quite success on the forum, but I'm definitly confused about what is worth to buy now or not.

you could try the ESL40 or the lingam extender. They both use vacuum but they both pull and constrain just behind the glans...

I thought with device with suction cup the problem cutting blood flow to the glans is resolved :-\

Sorry I totally forgot about this thread, as I was expecting more answers and finally had some PRP injections that prevent me from using traction during a while anyway. But thanks Pey Ron and Tsanchez for your advice!!
I think I'm gonna wait for the end of my injections cycle, then buy the ESL40 and find a way to get my hands on a bloody RestoreX !!
Are you not supposed to do traction with injections? With xiaflex, traction is recommended. It seems you're doing a lot of things at once. This is my opinion, but, injections, traction and nightly cialis should suffice during your injections. I don't see any harm in vitamin E oil. Many drs are very pro traction, especially with injections.

Well, Dr Virag said that I should totally avoid traction/VED for 15 days after each PRP-HA injection session... Maybe it's a different protocol from Xiaflex (which is supposed to break the plaque, whereas PRP would try to renew it in a healthier way ? Dunno exactly). It's been ten days or so now since the injection, and I do am looking forward to restart traction and VED, as for the moment my symptoms (especially hourglassing) are only getting worse.
And I already checked out mypeyronies.com when the disease started (10 months ago now...), it was kind of useful indeed but very less than our forum :-)!!

I received adipose-derived stem cells suspended in platelet rich plasma injected directly into my penis on Tuesday (the 26th of June, 2018 for the record), and I was told I can continue traction, which I have been doing with no adverse effects, for what it's worth. Also, I use traction by hand which I believe is a lot more effective than these stupid expensive extender devices. The benefit of the devices is the length of time you can apply it. Other than that, manual traction is superior in every other way; you can give exactly the tension needed with your hand once you're used to it; you can adjust your grip as you will; and most importantly, you can pull in ANY direction you want. Straight, Up and Down don't cut it for me personally.
I actually plan on writing out a full guide on how to apply traction by hand with hard flaccid, while avoiding damage to the area just below the glans.

According to your and some folks' recommendations, I began hand traction yesterday, trying to go gentle as I'm still very inflammed... It's been quite strange, as I felt to less force would not elongate my scar, and too much would make it tingly and itchy, just like a scar that accidentally re-opens a little. In spite of all my efforts, I couldn't find a middle way; so I'm still very confused about the methodology^^...
@JS1991: did they tell you how long it will take before you can expect to see results?
