Guys !? Help please??
Any one had first hand experience with him? Or the procedure? The procedure is plaque excision and tutoplast graft. I have a 10 degrees bent to the right ... not all that bad but a pronounced waist band just above the base making the erect penis look very unpleasant. He suggested this procedure for me. Help please!! I need to hear some real life experience ... Please share. Thank you very much.

I read a thread from crookedselfesteem in this forum. He posted in 2005, i wonder if he's still around. He had the exact same procedure i'm going to have with the same exact doctor .. with a not so good outcome, which leaves me with an unsure feeling of what to do now. Anyone here can give some advice please!! I just found this forum 2 days ago and my surgery is comming. I had this condition for over 5 years now and only went to diagnosed 2 years ago. I actually had one doctor attempted to correct it with plication, which reduce my curvature from 30 degrees down to 10 degrees but left the waist band at the base unfixed leaving my penis looking just as un pleasant as before the surgery. So this is actually my second attempt going at this whole thing and i'm really nervous now. Thank you every one! Any help will be very appreciated!!

I have no knowledge of the capability or skill of the dr. you mention but detect a strong reservation in your posts. The only advice I can suggest (having had implant surgery 2 years ago) is to not have the procedure until you have absolute confidence in him. This is one of biggest decisions you will make in your life & a mistake will open you up to a world of physical & emotional pain for years to come.

I would seek at least one second opinion from (ideally) a male sexual health specialist.

Wish I could offer more specific help.

You saw one negative comment and how many positive ones???   I'm not saying this doctor is good or bed, but I think we know little of his success and reputation. You will find other doctors here who have many positive comments and years of experience treating this condition.

Thank you for your concern. Yes i agree he doesn't have a big reputation in this type of surgery. At his office he peform several peronie correction every week but his nurse told me the last grafting procedure was probably 2 years ago. My biggest problem is he is the only good one available. I dont have insurance and i live in FLorida .. i dont know where to start to get to Dr.Levine?

It's a diameter constriction deformity like hourglass deformity, i try not to call mine hourglass because i dont think it's that bad. I saw photos of hourglass deformity ... they look really really bad. To give you a better idea, when i'm 60% to 70% erect my whole shaft expand evenly, almost same girth from base to tip. Then, when i'm fully erect the bend is pronounced and the girth at the base shrink all of a sudden .. even smaller than what i have at 60%-70% erect, while the middle and the top keeps expanding bigger.
