Title: Modified protein study
Post by: JustaguywithaP on January 15, 2018, 03:38:57 PM
Hello guys i have been reading some articles about fibrosis and found this https://www.news-medical.net/news/20160303/Modified-protein-appears-to-reverse-liver-fibrosis-cirrhosis-in-rats.aspx.
It talks about a modified protein able to reverse fibrosis in rat livers, the "modification" is an enhancement to make it able to last longer in the bloodflow.
What i found interesting is the possible correlation between this article and the story of the guy who got cured by an immunologist using hydrolysated proteins (aminoacids).
Any thoughts?

Your article indicates that TRAIL is an Enzyme in it's active state

Whereas, your correlation to the post by the guy claiming to be cured with Amino Acids would not seem to be  supported by this paper on TRAIL, as Amino Acids are, in simple terms, the building blocks of Proteins rather than Enzymatic Proteins themselves.

Very interesting article though. Interesting that nearly all the Fibrosis research I find is Pulmonary or Hepatic as well.
